Used to be great

It doesn’t work anymore? When I try to scan, the screen just turns black. The app thinks it’s scanning but then when I complete the scan there is nothing captured. I tried to contact support but got no reply.

Simple and surprisingly fun!

Amazing app, with simple features! Scanning is simple, and requires no skill other than motor skills that a 7 year old could do. When viewing, it lowers the point count when moving the camera so it’s easier to se perspective. Pro Tip: the default point density isn’t even the highest, turn it up! I have one thing to say: the photo feature is great, but it should overlay the photo onto the scan, would be a great feature.

App works great

Good app, and it does a good job at doing the scans, but I wish there were more export options, like GLB, OBJ etc.. so you can use them in more software, but I understand if the purpose was specific for CAD stuff

Needs progress bar for Sync to Cloud

Stuck uploading with the "syncing" word shown, yet with no ETA or even progress bar! Not good UX in the field.
Everything else is good.

Needs to be on all phones

Can you please make I so it works on iphone 13 mini because ein tryin to make a game of my room a d I can't do it without this app so if you can please do if you can then thanks (please write back of what you can do)

Hi KTBoy813. Unfortunately, SiteScape specifically makes use of the LiDAR sensor unit that's only on certain iPhone / iPad models. An iPhone 13 Pro or Pro Max has this sensor, but an iPhone 13 or 13 mini does not. Compatible devices include all iPhone Pro and Pro Max models since iPhone 12 Pro, and all iPad Pro models since 2020. We hope you understand and sorry we cannot be of more help!

Newest iPhone

Try to open, and a screen pops up saying that the app is only compatible with the newest phones and iOS.
Only problem is that I have an iPhone15, and just did an update 2 days ago.
1 star rating and deleting.

Really bad

It doesn’t work at all you start scanning and nothing happens, it askes you to restart but nothing, already tried with an iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 15 and an xs max, don’t waste your time!!!

Can’t do anything unless you “sign up”

I wanted to see if this 3D scanner app can take a good scan. I want to test that by doing a couple scans and then exporting the point clouds to my desktop for processing and analysis. But even the most basic functionality requires me to give up personal information for free by signing up for an account with some cloud thing.

Either let me try out your app for free, or don’t.

Continuosly crashes on opening

Even after uninstall and reinstall the app crashes. This devices has very minimal apps and a lot of space. Other companies open and work fine. App is up todate and I don’t usually complain just this used to be so good I would of done 5 before.

Scanning works fine, too easy to delete scans

Scanning works well, it’s just way to easy to accidentally delete scans and there is no way to recover recently deleted scans. At $50/month that’s unacceptable. They should sync to the cloud automatically but don’t since you have to use the cloud portion to get useful results anyway.

Don’t buy! Snake oil

The measurement of the interior of a small house is off as much as more than a foot! Not to mention the interface is very clumsy. Somebody made a half-hearted effort, put it in the App Store, and charge as much as $50 a month for it? This is snake oil!
