About

SixSecond Tables rehearses the times tables at the rhythm of the real Multiplication Tables Check: three warm-up questions, then 25 questions from the 2-12 tables, six seconds each, three seconds between them. No school account is needed and the whole app works offline. - Honest timing The 6000 ms answer window and the 3000 ms gap are judged by a state machine driven by an injected clock. Animations may drop frames; the clock never drifts. An answer at 5999 ms counts; at 6001 ms it submits as a timeout, exactly like the real check. - Missed facts become beasts to tame Every missed fact enters a three-box spaced-repetition queue and comes back weakest-first. Repeated hits tame the beast; a later miss lets it escape again. Sixty-six facts, sixty-six beasts, all drawn on device as vector creatures. - Memory hooks From the second miss of a fact, a memory hook appears: 5-6-7-8 makes 56, the nines finger trick, elevens mirroring, and 27 more. - Parent dashboard Behind a three-factor mental-arithmetic parent gate: a fact-by-fact heat map, the score line, the median-time trend, a conservative forecast, the queue level, and twelve parent guide articles. Up to four child profiles, each with completely separate records. - Offline, and stored only on the device No account, no cloud sync, no analytics. In airplane mode the mock checks, practice, beast book, dashboard and share cards all still work. Share cards carry no name by default. - Accessibility Dynamic Type, VoiceOver labels on the timer, keypad, heat cells and beast cards, targets of at least 44 pt, Reduce Motion fallbacks, and a colour-safe theme where a timeout always carries a clock glyph and a wrong answer a cross. A banner appears at the bottom of the screen, and a full-screen ad may appear at natural pauses after a finished check or practice round. An optional one-time "Remove Ads" purchase hides both. No feature is ever locked. SixSecond Tables is an independent practice app, not affiliated with or endorsed by the Standards and Testing Agency or the Department for Education. Every question is generated on your device; no official past papers are included.
