Your recipes should feel at home in the kitchen—and stay in your hands. Sizzzle brings your recipe book, meal plan and shopping lists together on iPhone and iPad. Start with a local Space in seconds: no Sizzzle account and no server. Read and edit recipes, plan meals and manage shopping lists even without internet. A Space is one self-contained kitchen: its own recipes, weekly plan and shopping lists. Make one for home, share one with family and keep one just for you. Switching takes a tap. COOK FROM YOUR OWN COLLECTION - Add recipes by hand, import from a link or bring in a Sizzzle recipe file - Turn photos of cookbook pages or handwritten cards into a draft with an optional AI service you choose - Search by name and filter by tags, categories, ingredients, tools, cookbooks or favorites - Scale servings and let the ingredient amounts follow - See clear steps, notes, times, nutrition when available and the original source - Keep the screen awake while you cook - Save favorites, add ratings and keep a cooking history with notes and photos PLAN DINNER, THEN SHOP - Fill a seven-day plan with recipes or simple meal notes - Choose from breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and more - Send a recipe's ingredients straight to a shopping list, scaled to your servings - Keep several named lists, grouped by food category - Swipe to check things off and hide or remove what is done KEEP IT LOCAL OR SHARE IT - Local Spaces work fully offline and stay on your device unless you choose otherwise - For optional sync, you choose the destination: a device folder or iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox, Nextcloud, ownCloud or your own Sizzzle sync server - Synced recipes, photos and lists are encrypted before they leave your device. Your storage provider only sees locked files - Invite family and friends with a link when you are ready to share - Keep several Spaces side by side and copy individual recipes between them BRING YOUR MEALIE SERVER Already use Mealie? Add one or several servers as Spaces. Browse, cook, plan, shop and organize directly from the recipes already on your server. Local and Mealie Spaces can sit side by side, and you can copy an individual recipe from one to another. YOUR DATA, YOUR CHOICE You do not need a Sizzzle account or a cloud run by us. Content in a local Space stays on your device unless you turn on sync; synced copies go only to the storage you chose. Sizzzle connects directly to any Mealie server you add. Sizzzle anonymously counts which features are used. Your recipes, storage locations and sign-in details are not sent, and sessions are not recorded. GOOD TO KNOW - Local Spaces can be read and edited offline. Imports from the web, photo scanning and sync need a connection - A Mealie Space needs its server for changes; recipes you already opened remain readable when the connection drops - In a local Space, photo scanning currently needs access to your own compatible AI service - Light and dark themes, full English and German, and a side-by-side iPad layout From saved recipe to checked-off shopping list, Sizzzle is built for the way dinner actually happens.
