Sounds like a problem with your connnection. Cannot see any crashes at all the last week. It is probably a problem with either Google or your connection.

Can’t create username
Decent app with good functionality. However, I can’t create a username to participate in multiplayer features. I keep getting a return message saying the name must be shorter than 16 characters. I’ve tried numerous variations. All of them are less than 16 characters.
