It was ok

I was expecting some good way to test out my coding scripts but this wasn’t what I expected but I have to say the little number guess game was very fun and I loved it but everything else was not what I wanted it to be but good job

Idk

Doesn’t even teach you

Great app

Use it to do some quick practice in the go!

it isn't right

app is good and all for scripting but it doesn't add an end) after (function()

No longer works on iOS 9, 12, and 13

A recent update made this app no longer work properly. When you start the app, all you get is a blank black screen. I guess all you can say is that you get a lunar eclipse.

I have used the latest version on iOS 9, 12, and 13 and got the same result on all three versions of iOS I have used.

I love it but I have a few problems

This app is awesome I love the terminal feature since it can be useful sometimes. Anyway for some reason when I type a "." it automatically turns on caps-lock; luckily if you use the Google keyboard it fixes this, but I'd rather not use it. I have a few suggestions that I would love to see in the app; such as a dark mode or changing the Lua version (so we can use the fenv functions).

Amazing app, but some vital problems.

This is exactly what I was looking for, it’s a free place for someone to write down Lua code and save it until needed. But just like a lot of other people, I ran into a problem with using io.read! This is a problem that is in need of a fix because it ruins tons of Lua code people have wrote, and it seems to have been unfixed for quite a few years. Another thing is that this app needs a night mode desperately, when I try to write down my code at night, it gives me eye strain and it drains my battery.

Very good but has some issues

It's a great app for Sketch Lua.. works great. I have used this for two years now and these are the common bugs I find:

- Data randomly gets erased once in a while when exiting a application. Usually if the app freezes for a second, it means that you code got randomly erased. Make sure to back up everything onto Google Docs or something!
- If you exit your running code in a loop, the loop will continue to loop when you run other things. Restarting the app will always fix this. Another way to prevent this bug from occuring is to check if "io.read == nil" or another variable. It doesn't always work.

3.5/5

I like it

the stuff is broken when you try and make new lines of code it just deletes other lines of code and I have to start all over and when I start over the same problem.

One of My Favourite Programming Apps

Lua is a simple yet powerful language, as you know.

It's a great use for coding games or whatever with ease, or even just making a simple project for school or more.

This app presents easy on-the-go presentation that barely lags at all compared to how you would think it would.

The app is completely stable and if you don't know Lua and are currently self-teaching yourself then you're in luck.

There's quite a few Lua files with comments for basic scripts and functions so you can just have a sneek peak at what Lua is like compared to your current language (which users may not even have).

The interface is basic but that doesn't really matter much since it makes your code easier to execute/load all of the time.

It's makes everything easier for everybody, and that's why I'm giving this application a 4 star review which is equal to 80%.

THANK YOU!

Sense 2016 I've Always Wanted A App To Simply Code And Test It! And I've Finally Got It! Better. My Favorite Coding Style
I've Been Searching But All I Could Find Is Learning To Code BS
Thank You A lot.

1+ year old bug

Reading reviews, I noticed a bug was mentioned over a year ago that talks about a problem with io.read not taking additional user input after the first run. This issue appears to still be in the app.

Your best bet, for now.

The app gets some horrendous slowdown when running on iOS 11.1.x. Aside from that, it’s... Okay. I’ve seen it work well.

Perfect

I love the simplicity of Lua, and this app is exactly what I was looking for.

Solid but buggy

The program is solid but there is one big for me where when I run a program that uses io.read() it doesn't take user input. It uses the old input

Fantastic.

This is a wonderful program for writing programs in Lua. Simple and up to date. Please add a 'night' mode for people who like a dark background. Thank you.

1 thing I found missing

It would not let me use sleep which is a lua command but other then that so far it works just great!

Works great on iPhone 5c

Problem on 5th generation iPod Touch.
