It’s great when it works which is 10% of the time
I need to use this app because it’s incredibly helpful as a designer, however, I can only get it to work when I delete and reinstall the app. When I do that it’ll work for about a day and then I’ll have to re-delete and re-download in order to use it again.
Why?
Why is this app not important to you guys. It’s extremely important yet barely works… boo!!

Sketch team, spend your time to improve experiences of what you have and what your customers already use! Only after chase Figma or other competitors! There is a whole bunch of small experience things needs to be polished in Sketch and Sketch Mirror before any other new functionality you should even think off... This race you are in with Figma leads nowhere. Only loss product quality and stability and, as result, loss of customers because of that!

Hello?
This app has the potential to be a strong tool in developing with sketch for mobile. But it seems the Sketch team just doesn’t care. It hasn’t been updated in more than a year. And as all the other one-star reviews point out, it works half the time. Can you clowns just fox the bloody app?

For years… YEARS… almost a DECADE this app has been terrible. Just delete it. Save people the pain of your thoughtless implementation.

Nothing like the impression I make showing a client a much-anticipated design only to have it show a black screen, only part of a screen, and/or a blurry or distorted screen. Or Sketch and Mirror simply can’t find each other. “Excuse me while I quit and restart everything” is a bad way to start a presentation.
But when it works it’s great! I like that it can track my current view so i can always (when it works) preview elements on the target device.

This worked reasonably well, until the latest update of Sketch.
Before you guys launch an update to the design program, please for the love of god, make sure it’s compatible with this app. It makes it extremely frustrating to design for mobile when the two aren’t in sync.

Extremely Buggy, and doesn’t work on Sketch 84
Sketch just needs to rip Figma’s mirror app off. The Sketch mirror has extremely long load time when it does work.
Currently on Sketch 84 (Mar 2022) this app does not work over wifi or USB.
Honestly ditch Sketch for Figma entirely if your workflow allows you to do so.

Much improved reliability!
This app has been indispensable for me but it’s certainly had some rough spots when it comes to reliability and speed in the past. Really glad to see improvements have been made to address this. Thanks for the hard work!
No longer works
This was a great micro-product, I’m guessing… EXTREMELY easy to maintain, but no… discontinued. Not great taking into account how much Sketch costs yearly.

So buggy. Has been for years. It’s more frustrating than it is useful. If you’re reading this and haven’t switched to Figma yet, just do so. Save yourself the hassle, seriously.
Blurry on iPhone 12 :(
All mocks and assets come out blurry on iPhone 12 although artboards appropriately are spec for iPhone 12.
Bug
White line of 1px on the right edge of the screen is causing image to compress. Did not have this issue 6 months ago in prior version.
Great app for local viewing/prototyping
This app does a great job of basic prototyping on a local device. In terms of making sure element sizes are ideal, mapping basic app functions, etc… Sketch mirror is perfect. In the future, would love to see a tool that allows for remote prototyping as well as local, so other members of my team can view without being on the same network.

Sketch mirror bug
I love using sketch but sketch mirror is not very well developed. Depending on the WiFi, sketch mirror does not work. I also use Figma and it always works. Please fix this. (I use the latest Max OS and sketch is also the latest version)
