Wish there was animation
I LOVE this as a drawing app, I've tried procreate and ibisPaint but they are so much harder to use and feel much more limiting. I've been using the app for years now and it really has everything you need in an accessible way. No ads and just a 3 dollar premium is amazing too. The ONLY thing I wish it had was an animation feature, I'm starting to get into animation and having to use a different app that I'm not used to has been rlly annoying.

I honestly enjoy the tools and and everything it offers. Even without premium, you can still make good art! I would definitely recommend this app to other artists.

This was a paid app and now it is hobbled and wants more money for things it used to have in the thing I paid for. Being able to paste world still be handy.
Very good art app, but..
I have a few small issues. When i use the “fill” tool, sometimes it will fill up parts of my art that i do not want filled, which can be irritating, since the other day i was drawing and i used the fill tool and it did that, and i accidentally closed the app, and i couldn’t undo this mistake. other than that, i don’t really have any issues with this app, as a beginner artist, it’s great for drawing! sometimes i do have other issues, like something when i use the color dropper thing (idk what its called) it picks the wrong color, which can be annoying. and sometimes when i try using the “select “ tool it doesn’t work, which also can be frustrating. but, overall, love the app! currently drawing a new pfp for my pinterest (it’s ribbit jax kaufmo and ragatha if i have any other tadc fans in the house)

It’s got everything, a symmetry tool, blenders, airbrush, images, and anything else an artist needs! It helped me to draw better digitally and allowed me to do redesigns of my favourite characters!

Great app for young and old!
I love this app so much I’ve used it for a long time! I like that it has no ads and you don’t HAVE to buy the subscription! It also works really well! I don’t like that when you go to gallery for a second it doesnt save you drawing anymore (i learned the hard way(,: ) like it used to but it’s not that bad! The blending is kind of hard to use, but i might just not be good at using it. Great with fill bucket but some brushes like the pencil are more thin so they can’t fill in and it might fill the whole page, so you just need to remember that. Nothing that bad, and it’s GREAT for beginner and for advanced artists.

Was good for a year
It was good for a year, but now it doesn’t let me draw and I can’t delete the app to restart it. I’ve tried restarting my iPad. Nothing worked. If anyone can please help me out. Please help me out.

I'm sure he got this app simply for drawing or painting on it's fine it is clean as far as luck graphics and layout is a step up then previous app I use of this nature the only problem is is I do a lot of layering work and I just I cannot get over the fact that to decrease a layer size will let you go down so far and you have to do a work around to let it go down further than the app says you can I just don't understand that that is a completely huge limitation at least for someone that does the kind of projects that I partake if you sketch if you draw if you paint I would recommend this probably I don't do that a lot with apps but I would definitely recommend recommended it seems clean but if you try any type of actual layering to where you have to take it down just a bit I would just trash the app and go with another direction.

Best app ever
If you're looking for a good app for drawing and writing i would recommend this app, it doesn't need you to watch an ad or anything like that to draw and if you want you can create an album and there are so many other stuffs that are so good! I can't recommend this app enough!

I spent over an hour for it to turn out that i cant fill in paint when i use the fill bucket on something and i made the stuff divided and guess what? STILL NO FILLING, IT FILLS THE ENTIRE THING INSTEAD.

The app is a pretty good app but there arnt all the tools that I need for the my art

I have been using Sketchbook since about 2016-ish, and it has never failed me! As a lifelong illustrator, I could not recommend a better app for artists of all skill levels. It is clean, organized, user-friendly, and comes with a diverse toolkit that will surely satisfy any creative soul lucky enough to come across it. All in all, a very reliable, affordable app with the artist’s experience in mind.
The only warning that I would give is that, speaking from experience, it *will* crash if you add too many layers. The layer count tends to top out at around 50 before your art starts to not respond to you anymore, so be wary and make sure you are being economical with your layers. They don’t grow on trees.
That said, whoever is looking to get their hands on this app, all I can say is that I hope you have a great time with Sketchbook!
