Crashes all the time
Can’t get it to work at all
Photo selected and then goes no further
I selected my photo, it shows selected photo, tapped DONE then goes back to all photos in album. No way to get a sketch created!
Deleting this app now. Not worth the frustration.

Horrible Interface
Impossible to select photos without restarting app.
SketchMee review
Fun/easy to use. The adjustable settings is great to get that one shot. Highly recommended.
Crashes all the time.
Useless.
Garbage garbage garbage
Ok. More specifically. All kinds of things happen after you find your way through the model T clunk a dunk interface to add your photo then for some unknown reason it forces you to isolate a face using one of only three aspect ratios. Why a face? Who knows? Why those aspect ratios? Who knows? Moving on... then we get to the smorgasbord main stage chaos zone where scribbles occur over your previously selected face. You engage a menu with a dozen parameters which contain (you guessed it) a bunch of options that only the almighty allah god spirit wandering goat monkey and the hans solo developer understands the meaning of. You blindly stab around making changes but no sense as to what on earth is going on. Then abandon said efforts. Hunt around the App Store to find the place to light this app and thus brings us to the current moment in time.

The Cats Meow Mix
I would give this more than 5 stars if I could... I recommend this to everybody!!!! A great app!!! I had to tear myself away from it just to write the review.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
6 Stars!
Updated review
Working smoothly now. I'm impressed with the number of presets available and the option to still "tinker" with them. It would be nice if there were a way to save favourites & scroll by number search.
The app name quite deceiving
At first i thought this app can create animated gif of the sketch. Unfortunately, its only export as jpeg. It will be nice if we can output as gif or video. Anyway, good app.
Works Swimmingly
This new version of SketchMee produces fascinating results. They have an algorithmic look, not quite like a natural drawing, but interesting nonetheless. The potential for an artist would be to blend the results from SketchMee with their own hand drawn layers, photos or other effects. The app comes with over 150 presets that reinterpret your input image with line fills and contours. The settings can be tuned to unlimited variations. The output quality on an iPad is high, up to 8 megapixels, and there is an in-app option for vector output for those who want to take their pictures further. Even if you don't intend to do that, the app is highly entertaining.

Fun Scribbley Wibbley Art from photos!
Fun
Useful app but..
I have owned this app for a couple of years. I find it very important to my work and use it often. However, of late it crashes a lot. This used to never happen. I have many other apps by the same creator and have no trouble with them. Please get this fixed.
GREAT GREAT GREAT
GREAT loose of my time and my money , because all the sketches are ugly and nothing special . Even Sketches 1 is better !!!
Turns photos into real sketches.
This is not an app that filters your photos to mimic a line drawing. Sketch Mee 2 actually draws from the image automatically with pencil and chalk tools. The robotic results look like sketched art drawn as expertly or as amateurish as you've set the controls for.
+ Dozens of presets to start you off
+ Save any of your own settings for use on other photos
+ Detect and frames faces
+ Also fetches images from Facebook and Dropbox
+ Can be used in Photos App as a filter or use Photos App tools inside of Sketch Mee 2
+ Can save creations at up to 8mp or in a vector PDF (in-app purchase)
- PDF option pricey at $9.99
I've used Sketch Mee for years since the original version of this unique app first came out. It's great for bloggers to add a hand-drawn touch to images to illustrate posts.

Excellent App.
Great effects, easy to use and well worth the money. A worthy companion piece to PaintMee, it's hours of entertainment and will make a difference to your photos - it also works well on scenery etc.
Stable and useful
Sketchmee 2 is a good photo conversion App which works well on my IPad 2. While it has a 8 Mp file size limit, for an extra fee you can upgrade to export a vector editable PDF and this really makes the app useful for artwork, and larger prints. Stay clear or the Sketchmee Pro version desktop app as it is not as functional as this version and a lot more expensive.

Stunning!!!
Bloody brilliant as I've come to expect from your apps. You've really surpassed yourselves with this one though. I can't imagine how you can improve on this. This is the only sketch app to get. Buy it!!!
Not your best app—Crashes CONSTANTLY
While the nearly 200 presets are a fairly nice touch, the GUI is flawed because the user is forced to watch a very tedious redraw of every potential effect, nearly all of which must be tweaked after being applied to the user's image.
Gone from this iteration of SketchMee are two critical functions: being able to set the parameters in advance—without being forced to pick a fairly close approximation of what the intended feel is to be—and the complete lack of choice of file dimensions, including the glaring omission of the in-app PDF export option.
Worst of all is the crashing during a render, upon saving to the Camera roll, and the bizarre uselessness of a user preset, which produces no image at all unless one waits for the preset to render completely. The presets are a fairly short list of parameters and should save instantly; instead the preset must be studied as it gradually changes from an empty white box to a fully re-rendered image that has already rendered and been saved as an image.
The 3 stars are for it being v1.0, although it feels like a beta version when one attempts to use it even on a nearly empty iPad running nothing but the iOS and SM2.
To be fair, the enormous number of presets does provide for creative inspiration that may not occur to the user. Bravo for that!
I am an enormous fan of StudioMee's other imaging apps. Please bear this in mind when you sense a harsh review here.
Please guys, fix the erratic crashes and interminable preset redraws. And please allow for what should be very fast saving of user presets. I'll be happy to review the next few versions until they have my deepest concerns.
A final request applies to both SketchMees and PaintMee: if you want to give us a variety of substrates for our images, great! However there really should be a bump map that affects the artwork with light and shade. The number of substrates is small and most are not convincing. It would be great not to be stuck only with "canvas" when Belgian Linen would serve PaintMee we'll, as would a deep textured watercolor paper for all the apps. There is so much sophistication in the apps in general, but I would rather have no substrate at all and take my finished image into Photoshop or Illustrator to create my own substrates and alpha channels that allow for the equivalent of how the media are affected through the use of an embossed effect, as I do now with the images I make in FoolProof, PaintMee, and sometimes in SketchMee One, although the latter images are usually altered in Illustrator to increase randomized effects and then rasterized into Photoshop for substrate texture and believable interaction with the sketches.
I look forward to the next few versions of this new app, and hope that the hard working coders have heard my suggestions for improvement beyond the (I hope it is perceived this way) constructive criticism of this new app's flaws.

Like it!
I really like the overall app. Is their a way to export PDFs as there was in the first version? If not please add ( I would pay for it as before ). Thanks.
