Unable to download in-app purchase

I have seen the older (separate) apps so decided to download this app…I tried to buy one of the sections…it started to download the section but the app shutdown at the end of the download. On re-opening the app, the section was still locked and unavailable and I had to repeat the purchase (Apple recognised it was already paid for though) but the same thing happened again. It’s a shame as the content I have previously seen was great…I’ve requested a refund
