Great resource for walking in Skiathos.
This is the second time we have used this app when visiting Skiathos. It is easy to use and as the walks can be downloaded to use offline they are accessible anytime. We’ve done most of the trails or have joined up several trails to see things we wanted to visit. The app is useful but the actual signage on the walks is also good so once you’re on the route you don’t need to be on the app all the time.
I would say that some of the information is optimistic, when it says ‘easy’ walks that is not necessary accurate. An ‘easy to moderate’ walk to the local monastery was not easy, the first hour you’re walking up hills and negotiating rough terrain. Having said that one of the reasons we returned to Skiathos was to do more of the walks and they are mostly worth the effort. I have tried to leave feedback on different walks on the app itself but it didn’t work so I gave up trying, a shame, as what I wanted to say was very positive. If we returned to Skiathos we would definitely use again.
