Skill Tree for Borderlands 2 User Reviews

Update needed

Level cap increased to 80 app only goes to 72

Wish they would update this!

I love the BL3 skill tree app. I wish with the release of BL on the switch that they would update this to have the same visual and functionality for BL 1&2.

That said the controls are a little wonky and hard to navigate to see the actual skill itself. I don’t like having to fight the app I’m using. I do not have this issue with the BL3 app.

Great concept, but has opportunity

This Skill builder is perfect when it comes to look and description of skill trees. The only flaw is that it is not user friendly, when trying to click and hold the skill to read the screen flickers up and down, and does not always work, it is laid out like text is underneath and tries to select the text to copy. The concept of being able to press and hold is genius, in theory this app sounds like the real deal, just wish it would work consistently.

Except for one thing

This app would be completely worth $1 if it were not for the fact that the text within were selectable. this creates a conflict between the way the user interacts with the skill icons and an iphone’s tap/hold system.

instead of simply flipping a skill icon with a hold to access detailed information, the screen shakes and you are almost always given the option to ‘select all/copy/paste,etc’. it’s a struggle to get anywhere.

this is a rather serious quality of life issue. if it were not for that, the convenience of having a standalone builder would be worth the price.

Worst review

This app scammed me out of my money. It won’t let me see my skills and I thought it was very different I want a refund for my money.

IOS 11

Awesome app, but wish they would update it so I can use it on iOS 11

Response from developer

Hi, sorry for the late response, didn't notice the review. The App was update for iOS 11 some time ago, if you still have any issues with the App please tell me. Have a nice day, cheers!

What why?

The first build is the default build and is the only build that can be loaded because the button to load builds opens a scroll wheel which doesn't let me select anything. There's just an obnoxious tick next to the one at the top THAT DOESN'T MOVE. Can this be fixed or am I doing something horribly wrong with my life?

Kind've a deal-breaker on an app designed for mixing up favourite build(s) so for it's specialist convenience it still sets a bar for quality.

1 major flaw stops it from being 5/5

The button to delete a build is directly beneath the build toggle/menu selection. This makes it extremely easy to accidentally delete your build. Be prepared to spend a lot of time recreating your builds. If the creator moved the delete button or added a delete confirmation, I'd give the app 5 stars.

Nice Little App

It's a nice little app that let's you plan out your skill points for Borderlands 2 whilst on the go. A nice distraction if you are caught in a boring situation. The layout is nice, being able to scroll up and down to see the three branches of the character's skill tree. It does what you need it to do, help you plan your characters.

What a waste

Ok, I started out exited because i love BL2, but the second i got into the app i realized the terrible format and that its easier to just get a computer and go to the site. This. App. Ssssuuuuuuucccckkkks.

Useful

Better than searching through the skill trees and u can track you progress from any where

Bad!

Dumb crapy app, waste of money! DO NOT BUY THIS!!

Caution! Missing Information!

There is nothing special with this app. Unfortunately there is no explanation on each skill, so you have to know all the skills in detail, which is almost impossible and if you would know them the app would be useless.

BRING EXPLANATION FOR EACH SKILL!!!

Just what I was looking for!

This is perfect! Now I can read all the cool skill levels at work, instead of in the middle of a loot'n party! You can also assign skill points, maxed at 61, and save your settings, so when you get home the trees are ready to go! Or email them to friends! This is a great time saver. ********PLEASE UPDATE FOR KRIEG the psYchO dude.*******

Very helpful!

Rather than spending all of your money respecing your skills, you can plan away and make changes anytime! Just hoping for an update soon to include Krieg!

Great app!

The only reason I give 4 stars is because you have to click and hold what your investing a point into to be able to see what it does, and it's time to update the app to add in the psycho because they have released the official skill trees for him :) thanks for a great app

Out of date

Just got this and it's useless as it doesn't take into account the level increase to 61 so your short on points

Good skill tree builder

Good app for doing builds when you don't have computer access. No frills, easy to use. Latest update allows you to save skill point distribution. Needs to be updated to reflect recent level cap increase.

It's alright

Nice for when you don't have a computer in front of you bc the actual website is difficult on an iPhone. As far as saving your characters skill tree, it doesn't save the layout, only the name of your character. For the price and the limited options I would have to say its not worth the marked value. If more options were added I'd up my rating but for now its 2 stars.
Needs new level 61 update
