App is quick to register; intuitive and easy to use. Took about 10 minutes to complete photos for analysis. I highly recommend this to anyone concerned that they might have skin cancer!

Difficult to do on your own . Perhaps somewhere in the instructions it should say have another person take the pictures.
Other than that, I feel comfortable and hope that I will hear from someone soon regarding photos and skin exam. I would recommend this to my friends and family.

Easy-Peasy
I took the photos myself, and it helped to have a phone stand! If you have a selfie stick (I did not) that would have worked too.

Technophobe
I’ve been trying to set up an appointment with my doctor for at least a lifetime and a half but they ( Kaiser ) just have had me on the hamster wheel of perpetual red tape and irritation.
The app was quite easy and user friendly. I’m about as tech averse as they come, but was able to accomplish this with little difficulty.
Simplicity is king in an era of red tape!!!
My only concern with the app is privacy but that can only be proven with time.

A scam
Me and my husband recieved an email stating they’d pay us both $780 back in January it’s July 2023 we recieved no discount or money and they sent a bill for 65.00 never was told I’d be charged this is a scam and should be removed from the play store.

Our app is designed to provide access to early detection of skin cancer and to in-person care if you need it, and we want every user to have the absolute best experience possible. The $780 sum is a health insurance premium credit from your employer. Unfortunately we are not connected in any way to your employer’s fulfillment of that credit. The $65 charge is from your health plan, which - again unfortunately - we have no ability to control. That said, we are more than happy to partner with you in contacting both your employer and your health plan to see if we can help you rectify both. I was able to use SkinIO through my employer and it was very easy to use. I hadn’t been to the derm in years because of my busy schedule, so this was a great option to have! Would definitely recommend taking advantage of this benefit if your employer offers it!

Helped me skip the 6 month wait to see a dermatologist
With a family history of skin cancer, I know I’m supposed to get annual skin exams. But the dermatologists I called for an appointment couldn’t see me for 4 or even 6 months. Luckily my employer just started offering SkinIO as a new benefit. I was able to do my skin screening at home with the app in about 15 minutes. I got an email the next day saying that based on my photos, the doctor that looked at them recommended that I go see a dermatologist in person. I was frustrated because I know how long that would take to be seen. Then someone from SkinIO called me and said they have a dermatologist near me that could see me within 3 weeks! I was so relieved that they offer that referral as part of their service. I made an appointment and will be going in next week. I’m so glad I will be seen so quickly and they take my insurance. Very happy with my SkinIO experience.

Pretty dang quick and easy
The app was easy to use. After creating my account, I was able to get through the picture-taking process in no time. I also like how it lets you pick spots you’re concerned about to get reviewed. Overall definitely would say to give it a shot if you can.
