About

SkinLink is a secure, mobile platform that lets clinicians route dermatology cases to specialists for asynchronous review. It is built for care teams who need to share lesion photos and clinical context safely — with end-to-end encryption, so patient data never leaves the device in plaintext. THREE ROLES, ONE APP • Clinician — create a case, capture lesion photos with the in-app camera, add clinical notes, and send it to a specialist. • Specialist — review assigned cases, inspect images, and return a diagnosis and management plan. • Admin — manage users, oversee the audit log, and export de-identified data for research. PRIVACY BY DESIGN • End-to-end encryption: every case (photos, notes, structured fields) is encrypted on your device before upload. The server stores only ciphertext and routing metadata — never plaintext patient information. • Device-bound keys: private keys are generated and stored in the device's Secure Enclave / Keystore and never leave it. • No advertising, no analytics, no third-party tracking. • Photos are captured in-app and stored only in the encrypted cloud — never written to your photo library. BUILT FOR REAL-WORLD CARE • Asynchronous workflow designed for intermittent connectivity. • Push notifications for case lifecycle events contain no patient information — just a prompt to open the app. • A full audit log records privileged actions for accountability. ACCESS SkinLink accounts are provisioned by your organization's administrator; the app is intended for use within clinical and research deployments. It is not a consumer self-service product and does not provide medical advice directly to patients. SkinLink supports HIPAA-aware deployments; organizations are responsible for their own agreements with the hosted-backend provider.
