Poorly optimized
Granted it can be useful at first to categorize your routine and products you’ve used, it is for that very same reason it fails. It is a slow app, not just technically but organizationally. With the inability to change your routine quickly and efficiently leading to a stagnation in use because it is so clunky and scattered to use in the first place.

This app already barely worked to begin with and now the newest update has made it impossible to search with basic filters like region without upgrading.

Not correct information
Some info was incorrect the products my dermatologist recommended to me which helped my skin were labeled wrong on this app.
No reminders for payments
The payment option sits in the website not the App Store and they issue no reminders that payment will be taken. When I followed up by email to get my payment details removed they have not responded. It probably is a great app but I can’t endorse such shady business practice
You have to pay for almost everything….

Best skin care app
I love everything about this app. I have learned so much about my own skin and have found people who are supportive and knowledgeable.
Scammy free trial
Free trial scam! I just wanted to try out the app. My Apple account was frozen due to lack of funds until I coughed up the $60 for a yearly subscription. When I disputed the charge with Apple I lost. I think I had tried the app already and forgotten about it. But I needed that money for food and wasn’t given a refund for something I did not use. Don’t be like me, stay away from this app.

Best skincare app
It’s great at telling you how good products are for YOUR skin and there’s a community of people helping each other out. It’s well fined tuned to you and not just fearmongering. Very scientific. You can learn a lot about the ingredients in your product and about your own skin and log routines. Helps break down the sea of misinformation and confusion, as a teen with skin issues and no derm. Unfortunately, quite a few features are behind a pay wall but this app has helped me so much even as a non premium user. I give it 5 as it couldn’t really get much better.Things like comparing products, finding dupes, and all sorts to do with actually targeting your own problem. The subscription isn’t the worst price when on its constant offer, with 20 yearly! Also can get a week free and get one month for just £4 on offer. I have like no money but I think it would be good to buy rather than waste money on products not for you. Developers are also super responsive and interactive, constantly taking feedback and changing this app for the better. AMAZING.

Best Skincare app
I love this app! Love knowing exactly what I am putting on my skin by scanning all the ingredients in products. It is also helping me realize you don’t need to spend a fortune for good skincare and makeup!

iPad Support
Love this app! It’s the next best thing to managing my fungal acne, right after my derm. I’ve submitted so many products here, got so many information about different ingredients (and all scientific based, not the crazy “ITS CHEMICALS DONT USE” stuff like in the other apps), and also met amazing community 🥲
But please please please, add the iPad Support. I’ll continue to use the app on my phone, but for the iPad… Imma stick to the old good web version 😅

Saved My Skin
For years I never knew what to put on my skin. There’s thousands of products, hundreds of different skin types and combinations, dermatologists are expensive, skinfluencers can lie and promote scams, and it can be so daunting you don’t even know where to start. When googling certain products, skin sort consistently came up as the top result with tons of helpful information. I finally caved and got the app and it helped SO MUCH to find products that work for me. I have fungal acne, psoriasis, and sensitive skin. So it helped to narrow down exact products that will work for me

Poor
Useful for checking suitability of specific products, although it told me a face wash was 90% suitable and then changed that to 60% a week later. As a discovery tool it’s absolutely useless. Search functionality just doesn’t work. Search for La roche-posay…no products. Search for a specific La roche-posay product and it miraculously appears. Use filters to search for a moisturiser with spf…. no products, yet searching by exact name finds loads. Really shoddy stuff, made worse by the fact I did a week’s free trial because it said I would be notified before being billed for the year. Was I? No I wasn’t. Stuck with a £50 ineffective app now.

Pretty Good App
This app is amazing! The only bad thing is that you have to buy to know what you should use for the peerfect match other than that it is awsome’
Update is really a downgrade
Before this update, every time you clicked on the coloured bar that showed the overall score of the product, you could also see a compatibility rating (excellent, good, neautral etc) for your skin type (I have combination). Not sure why this feature wasn’t kept consistently with all products.
This is the best app ever.
Omg I had such confusion like I was buying the ‘pretty trendy Asthetic’ skin products but once I tried this it told me what REALLY worked for my skin,I’m GLOWING.please download I’m not even being biased this is my favorite thing ever BLESS THIS DEV
Deleted My Review
So I recently made a review because I noticed that the Amazon product linked was a fake and recommended people to buy from the official store and in three minutes of me publishing the deleted so it feels like this company is making money through commission through their links and it’s not transparent with the customers/reviewers.
