Skintel: Face Scan & Score

Most face apps give you a number and hope you don't ask where it came from. Skintel shows its working. Scan your face and you get a score out of 100 — plus how confident that reading is, what moved it since last time, and what it cannot tell you yet. When there isn't enough to compare against, it says so instead of inventing a comparison. YOUR APPEARANCE INDEX One photo. Skin quality and visible structure, scored separately and together. Skin: visible dryness, even tone, texture, pores, redness, dark spots, fine lines, firmness. Structure: jaw line, midface, symmetry — visual estimates from a photograph, labelled as such. A photo cannot measure bone, and Skintel does not pretend to. A bad frame is refused. Soft light and a blurry selfie produce a bad reading, and that reading becomes the baseline everything after it is measured against. Skintel checks the frame before it scores it. A PROTOCOL FROM YOUR WEAKEST SCORES Four steps, morning and evening. Night treatment follows the metric that needs it most. Each step names what it is for. Thinnest to thickest — a serum applied after moisturiser cannot reach skin. Tick them off and the streak is honest: one missed evening breaks it. DOES YOUR FACE READ OLDER OR YOUNGER? Tell us your age band (you must be 17 or older) and each scan reads back relative to it, capped at eight years either way. Skip the question and Skintel simply doesn't show it. It will never print a fake skin age with no evidence behind it. WATCH THE PAIR, NOT THE SELFIE Rescan in similar light. Two scans unlock the before/after. The number is useful from scan two onward — one scan is a baseline. WHAT IT WON'T DO It won't flatter you. 50 is genuinely average. It won't diagnose anything. Skintel is a cosmetic tracking tool, not a medical device. It does not detect skin conditions and it does not measure bone. It won't invent a ranking against other people. There is no "top 22%" because there is no cohort to compute one from. INGREDIENT CHECK (PREMIUM) Photograph the ingredient list on the bottle. Skintel reads the INCI panel and tells you whether it contains something you flagged — fragrance, drying alcohol, essential oils, and so on. Position on the list matters: an irritant listed second is most of what you're putting on; listed last, it's a trace. This is not a barcode lookup and not a safety verdict. YOUR PHOTOS Scan history stays on your phone. Photos are sent once for analysis and are not kept on our servers, not linked to an account, and not used to train models. There is no account to create. You can delete everything from Settings. SKINTEL PREMIUM Your appearance index, all eight skin scores, daily protocol and before/after photos are free. Premium unlocks the structure map — jaw, midface, symmetry — what moved each metric and why, and ingredient matching against your sensitivities. Monthly or yearly. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
