Please add the podcast from Ministries in Touch Radio, which sadly is not available.
UX is terrible.
Also it has a few bugs and they ruins experience more. I think it has its potential, but really needs to be fixed in many ways.
Low usage on mac but not on iOS
EDIT: Pocket Casts gives me more usability and less battery usage. Uninstalling. But still keeping the app on mac.
Mixed feelings
But... the UI is quite anti-user. There is no way to date reverse sort the episodes (which is a must, since I listen to recorded news). Interface is quite spartan. I guess that's the price paid for performance.
meh
Feature request: allow importing opml files
Import ompl?
Great player!
Please add the speed options. I don’t have the time to listen talks on less than 1.5x speed.
Terrible
Hard to see, can’t view descriptions, useless search application, non-intuitive controls.
Waste of money. Would be easier to stick your head out a window and hope you hear a podcast.
Big buttons! Great user interface!!
Great app

Thank you so much for the review! I've gotta be honest, the space thing bugs me as well, and I've been taking small pokes at this issue from time to time. No time like the present however, so I'll make this my number one priority for the next release. At very minimum I'll create a new button in the settings menu for "cleaning up" old episodes, though I think I may have already found the "core" issue, half-downloaded podcast episodes. At any rate thank you so much for the fantastic feedback, I'm all over this one!
Surprisingly basic.
The single playlist per channel I suppose would be fine for some but others are more podcast hungry. Advanced users may have multiple lists like Technology lists, Newsbrief lists, Video lists and just plain old Audio lists. You're not gonna find that in this app. Everything is just housed under one flat list per title. It's disappointing that such a wonderful app is missing play list customization. There are many free podcast players that offer multiple list play features. Being able to create multiple lists by date, or type (Video/Audio) or main topic (News, Politics, Music etc.)
You also will greatly miss the ability to control what gets played and when. It's missing the ability to play your casts from "Oldest to Newest" or vice versa.
Despite the apps amazing catalog of podcasts and description pages of those podcasts, you can't see the individual podcast contents unless you actually subscribe. Something that I hope will be fixed in updates.
All in all it is a nice app. However, with basic control features and customizations missing it does not justify its current price especially with so many free podcast players offering so much more. You're probably going to want to wait for either a substantial price cut or at least an update that fills in the missing features.
Awesome developer, awesome app!

Thank you so much for the review! We've released more than (40!) feature updates since this review, hopefully the issues experienced have been solved. If not though -- I take bugs very seriously, so please send an email to info@skipcast.net and let me know how I can help!
