App doesn’t work
Child is at camp this week and they use this app. I signed up for the premium subscription for the month so I could save the photos posted. Next day the app isn’t working and no response from developers. It’s been 2 days and still not working. Horrible
Do Not Use
We were told we couldn’t use Klassly anymore so switched to this. We started having issues and tried to reach out but Skoolr has no support team. We actually ended up reaching out to Klassly for help and were told their former technical director copied the application's code, renamed it Skoolr, and pushed it into the USA and other countries while blocking Klassly.
He was fired and legal action was apparently taken.
Klassly has been accessible again in the USA for several months now!

Purchased the app but can’t download individual photos because they appear all. black.
Very glitchy; doesnt show notifications
I used this as a messaging app last year while it was still Klassly, and it worked amazingly. So far this year I am having parents not see the posts I send, are not able to send messages, and as of today it won’t even let me open the app. Very sad to say that I will not be using this next year unless it gets fixed.

Network problem
There is a problem with the app right now with all of my coworkers and my parents. I can’t even get into the app. I cannot get to the Skoolr website either to just find someone to email for help! Please fix this.
Frustrating but has potential?
This has been a little frustrating to use. I’m trying to demo it because it’s relatively affordable and my small school needs an affordable communication app. But the verification codes take time and if you try to get a code resent it tells you you don’t have an academic email, even when it’s a parent account.
Once I was able to set up the parent account it was easier, just worried it will be too frustrating for my parents to use.

Parents are not seeing my messages.
I used this last year as Klassly and it was wonderful, however, so far this year my parents are not getting notifications about posts and messages, so it is almost pointless to use. Please fix this!
Klassly was buggy, this is even worse
Yesterday when trying to update my Klassly I was met with the message that everything had been transferred to Skoolr. No prior warning or anything to prepare. I was annoyed but whatever. Then when I tried to actually log in to Skoolr I was met with error screens and messages stating my account did not exist. Finally today I was able to log in by some miracle; honestly I don’t think my parents will go through this hassle of changing apps and I don’t blame them. When I went to post my photos I was shocked to see that they now limited the number of photos that can be posted from 36 down to only 10! Everything that I used to be able to use with a free account on Klassly is now locked behind a paywall. I’m extremely disappointed. For an app with such a buggy UI, the cost of an upgraded plan is frankly outrageous.
Thankfully, September brings us a new class which means we can switch to a different app for classroom updates and parent communication, and retire our Klassly/Skoolr group for good.
