AMAZING APP
Is absolutely amazing and shows all kinds of amazing stuff

I recognize that giving this app one star is a dick move. However, i'm so frustrated by this and 1000 other apps. This app falls the same category that 1000 other apps all seem to fall into: namely, they will send you a notification, and if you tap on that notification, you are taken to the apps user interface as if you had just opened the app regularly.
If I tap a notification I expect to be taken to a screen that shows me exactly--in front of my face--what it is I was notified about. There should be a red dot, or some sort of popup that tells me exactly what the notification was about.
Anything else is just like getting paged back in the 1990s--it just proves that the app wants your attention and nothing more.
PUT IT IN FRONT OF MY FACE.

Ok so I love space. Ive been using this app for about a month and the arg has always been accurate. But now its not, its showing venus like 30 degrees from where it should be. Now i find great distrust in the arg. But its still nice to learn about the space item thingies because this app has A LOT.

Sky Guide is a great app for astronomy 🪐 I used this app for the first time and wow. I didn’t expect to have so much info and interesting things that is wondering in an endless universe and I had this app for a while and I recommend downloading the app for holding up your device and see what’s out there.

I love this app
I’ve been using this app for years. It’s a great way to stargaze and figure out what’s above. It also has a fantastic news section with fascinating science articles. I even love the soft new-age ambient music the app plays while you use it - obviously you can turn it off, but I would never.

App is like a meting of the minds of Science and Magic! Appropriately named Sky Guide, my now 8 yr old and I have enjoyed exploring the night sky for a few years and appreciate our guide.
This app is terrible
It’s about 30 degrees off on the azimuth from where the planets actually are and yes, I’ve calibrated my phone’s compass so it’s not that — it’s the app. I uninstalled it after five minutes. Waste of time. Definitely do NOT pay for this thing.

The best at sea/rural
I love this thing when in National Parks to line up PLANETS respective to the MOON. It’s amazing. I would have no idea what I was seeing if not for this amazing app that can use GPS.
