Disappointment
I would give 0 stars but I cannot. Ever since the update, I feel like the game is useless. It was impossible to navigate and it’s practically rigged. Twister games are only winnable IF it’s a low return. Tournaments are frustrating to say the least, I used to win a few low stakes tournaments a month, now I think it’s been 3 weeks since I’ve won a bounty. Now I don’t claim to be an amazing player, but the update and change is making me look at other poker apps.

Don’t waste your money
Been done over way too many times. I’ve decided to no longer play online poker because of this app. Being done on the river so many times and the odds are astronomical, not just once, but countless times. I’d be better off playing the lottery than playing sit and go sky poker games. Done for good. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. You’ll just end up losing to bots or people who have no life and play the game all day long.

Rigged AF
So this app loves paying off the under dog… no idea why, maybe a way to get smaller, newer players hooked to the game darling small payouts long term…
Lost post flop to runner runner straight draws 4 TIMES IN A ROW! the odds of I happening once are less than 1% so 4 times in a row is a near impossibility unless the game is rigged…
Also it’s easy to just say “well that’s a bad beat and you can’t take it” but the limited success I’ve had in the game, I’ve been all in against much better hands than me yet I’ve come out on top… nice when it happens that way round but there’s much less feeling of achievement even if you do win because you know statistically you should be out.
Don’t see why the game just cannot generate random cards but after 2 years of playing this app have never seen such ludicrous luck in players from behind I can’t help but fully believe it’s somehow a fix.

Fixed poker
I must admit this is the worst site for poker I’ve had the unfortunate privilege of playing on. It seems the same thing happens time after time time, you have very little chance of winning a tournament unless you are fortunate enough to have a good bankroll. I have seen so many hands on this site loss that in real poker would have been mucked by the player because it’s rigged to the hilt and the more you play it the more obvious it is. Also look out for certain players as they are not real and knock players that are on a regular basis.. YOU HAVE BE WARNED!!!!!!!!!!

Don’t waste your money
I play live poker regularly and have played online poker for years too and have never seen a platform where so many useless hands call large raises and beat genuine raising hands. For example, under the gun raises 3x bb with KQ suited and gets called by what eventually turns out to be Q3 off suit which wins when the river finally gives them a pair of Q’s and 3’s! In another game the flops gave players running straights three hands in a row, the odds against that are in the region of 1 in 10,793,861, yes that’s 10 million. Random? I don’t believe it and that’s why I’m taking my money elsewhere. Avoid if you don’t want to feel like you are being scammed.

Great app, seriously easy to win.
Forget the one star reviews, these are left by the fish who think everything is rigged against them lol. It’s these people who make this such an easy platform to win on.
All you have to do is apply a very basic strategy, in order to make good money from these people. Some guy shoves with 77 pre full stacked in a cash game, gets called with AA but “waaa waaaa 😭 its all a scam”. No bud, it’s because you’re playing bingo.

Bad platform
Three days without a starting hand. Never seen so many bad beats and useless cards win a game. If you’re holding a pair you can guarantee someone else is holding a better pair. This platform goes against every book based on poker strategy ever written. No matter what strategy you employ playing on this site, you will soon realise that these games are about rake & the only winner is the site. I have seen some shocking games, J7os calling all in & cracking Aces. Avoid this or you will lose your money regardless of how good you are at poker. It’s a scam on a monumental scale.

DO NOT USE THIS APP
If you’re looking to play tournaments then find another app or use the website. If you have good Wi-Fi or Data connection the app will freeze at critical points in a tournament more than any other app I have used. It will do this when you’re Big blinds and small blinds then by the time you’re back you would have lost so many chips. The set up is straightforward but don’t think you can make money from this for one second. Uninstalling this app and solely using PokerStars, I suggest everyone does the same.

Bug
Played a MTT last night and as it was getting down to final 2 tables I was transferred onto a new table at the exact point I was getting the big blind, I could not see my cards so lost the big blind at a critical point. Made a complaint to Sky Poker and of course it was not a problem with their server it was my device. Told in the future if this happens to delete the app and re install, yes right at the crucial part of a tournament. Offered entry fee back as a gesture, told them to keep it to pay for better servers.

Simple but great
Very basic controls so if you want to put a silly hat on your avatar this is not the app for you. Few bad beats but nothing worse than I’ve had in real life. Just gotta get use to players going all in on a 3 8 unsuited, not really the apps fault. Like all the other major poker apps, the more you spend on a tournament entry the better the quality of players around the table.

The App is fine it’s the company that’s corrupt
My advice to anyone thinking that playing poker via a phone app is a good idea because it’s convenient and freely available is think again, online poker is probably the biggest rip off your likely to encounter in 2019, don’t make the mistake of thinking your playing other players, your not, your playing bots and rigged software. You will constantly see the same names on 8+ tables at a time making the correct plays every time, now you only get roughly 10 seconds for each decision, so figure it out clearly something doesn’t add up. Ima winning cash and tourney player live but online I’m consistently losing money and SKY POKER is the worst, it’s guaranteed to screw you on the river and send you down it without a paddle

This is a simple and clear app with a simple table and bet format. It is better than the cartoon,video game style of poker tables as it doesn’t lose sight of its function.
The algorithms are set up to generate action which means the hand strengths are miles away from reality. This takes a lot of getting used to and is very frustrating when you are playing to the odds but the algorithms throw up ridiculous long odds ‘outs’ on the turn and river.
All in all though, I prefer this to Ladbrokes and 888 gameplay which is designed for kids.

Great App Needs a couple of tweaks
Love the app, use it mostly on my iPad. Works efficiently and easily. Couple things that I feel could be better is the access on viewing chat while playing at a table and the ability to play on multiple tables at once. If it had those features it’d be 5* from me 👍🏼

Overall the app is great. The lobby is easy to navigate and clear. Run smooth ( iPhone 6+ ) and never had any running issues. I would like to see multi table options soon as currently you can only play one table.
The UI whilst at the table is a little outdated and could benefit from an overhaul, with more pre/post betting options. Furthermore the placing of the buttons would be more ergonomic if it were to be moved to either side of the screen, or even better, to fill up the entire bottom of the screen. However, currently this is such a tiny gripe I have with the app and doest detract from the overall positive feel of the app.
Otherwise I completely rate the app and would (and have) recommend to friends.

If you like 'Bad Beats' this is the app for you...
Have been playing this poker app for quite a while and have never seen so many outrageous bad beats. I haven't tried any other poker apps for a long while but on this one i've seen premium hands get beaten by total garbage at least 75% of the time. Had KK busted 3 times yesterday and AA beaten by AK os with a flush amongst others....
Aside from that it's a decent app. Haven't had any connection problems or other bugs and there are lots of games and tournaments to choose from and plenty of free rolls.

OK, but extremely basic
The thing that struck me about Sky Poker is how dated it looks. It looks like someone knocked it up on Windows 95 or something. I know that’s not a particularly important thing in the scheme of things, but at the same time it would make it more fun to play if it looked half decent. Zynga poker looks 100 times nicer.
As for the play itself; Sky seems *way* fairer than Zynga, but you do still sometimes get the feeling it can turn against you or for you at the drop of a hat. Too often have I won with a bad call, and too often have I lost to someone else’s bad call. AA, KK, QQ etc. do not seem to win very often at all, with other players hitting straights or flushes on the turn and river a lot more often than probability would suggest.

More like joker
I’ve been playing poker for several years across multiple sites and yet I have never come across a platform where your constantly bested with useless hands. How can a pair of 3s or 5s always beat aces and kings? Seen it happen at least 7/10 times in games. I can happily say I’ll be taking my money and be putting it into another app which actually can function a game of poker without the pathetic excuse of random card generating, which I must add will always cater to somebody on the table as it’s clearly designed to do so. Please be vigilant on certain players you’ll see across many tables, sky always allows them to win

Honest opinion
Despite some restrictions (can’t play multiple tables on a tablet) I think it’s a good platform. I’ve read some other reviews, but them seem more directed at players, or service provider. If you don’t like it, don’t play.
Stay Away
The app is good. The sky poker site is beyond belief..... I have played poker for years and I know that’s it’s random what cards come out but with sky poker there is a flop with two of the same cards at least every 3 hands and if you think you can win with A A K K etc I wouldn’t even bother as I have seen and had that hand and most times get beat by people with really bad calls who have got trips on the flop or hit you at the river with straight or full house with hands like 72 or 39. I have now switched to virgin poker and phew life is back to normal and can play the game that I love properly without being scammed.

What a great experience
I look forward to sit to sit down of a evening and play poker using my Sky Poker App pick my game of poker for that night play poker and try and win some cash. I find the Sky Poker app easy to use and the I in game info easy to find and my overall experience good fun and collecting my winnings easy to get any problems or issues resolved very quickly, trust me you won’t find a better over all experience on net anywhere.
