About

The world's cities, right outside your window. Sky Stroll lets you glide endlessly over major cities on a random route. - 20 cities, including Tokyo, Kyoto, New York, Paris, Rome and Sydney - 3D aerial imagery from Apple Maps — fly over rooftops, rivers and landmarks - Every flight takes a different route - Five times of day: sunrise, midday, sunset, dusk and starry night. In Auto, the sky follows the sun over the city you're flying above - At dusk and at night, the city lights up into a night view - The weather is always clear. Show the sky to see stars and the odd shooting star - Flocks of birds and planes cross the sky now and then, with birdsong and the distant hum of a plane - Pick one relaxing sound: ocean waves, a babbling stream or gentle classical music. Add the wind too if you like. Plays alongside your music - The screen stays on while you watch, and turning your device sideways fills the screen - Keep a list of cities you want to visit and cities you've been to — add any city, even from the Share button in Safari, and fly over it - Free with ads: a banner at the bottom of the screen, plus a full-screen ad when you change cities and about every 30 minutes of viewing (announced just before it appears). A one-time purchase removes all ads Wi‑Fi is recommended, because the views load a lot of imagery. On mobile data, the app asks before it starts (you can also choose "Wi‑Fi only" or "Mobile data + Wi‑Fi" in Settings). Buildings appear in 3D only in cities where Apple Maps offers 3D imagery. The night-view lights are drawn by the app based on the map. Credits: birdsong, plane and ocean wave recordings from Freesound (CC0).
