About
Stand under the world's flight paths.
Skyarium draws the sky from where you stand, with every real flight in it, where it actually is. Watch from your own backyard, or from the great plane-spotting places of the world: LAX, Heathrow, Gravelly Point in Washington DC, Las Vegas, Dallas–Fort Worth.
THE HORIZON
• Real terrain, city skylines and live weather, with the sun, moon, stars and planets where they really are.
• Look around by sliding the compass, turning your phone or dragging the sky.
• Tap a plane to see what it is, where it's coming from and going, how high it is and when it passes closest.
• Follow a flight all the way down to the runway.
• Approach paths show the runways in use; long-exposure trails build up the routes planes really fly.
• A heads-up a minute or two before a plane passes close by.
THE WALL
Turn your phone on its side while it charges and Skyarium keeps the sky going in the background. It directs itself, cutting to whatever's landing or taking off, between an arrivals board and a list of everything flying nearby. At home, a chime and a short radio call tell you a plane is about to pass over.
THE LOGBOOK
Save the flights you like as boarding passes, with the plane, its route and a photo.
FREE, THE SAME FOR EVERYONE
No subscriptions, no ads, no accounts, no tracking, and nothing locked behind a paywall.
Flight positions come from adsb.fi, a community network of volunteer receivers. Coverage is best near cities and airports; small planes without ADS-B don't appear.
Skyarium is for enjoying the sky. It isn't for navigation, air traffic, safety or any decision that matters. Flight data can be late, wrong or missing.
