Calibration crashes the eye tracker

I’ve bought the skyle eye tracker with high hopes for my quadriplegic partner in her mid thirties. It was I totally a very empowering experience but turned quickly into endless frustration. When connecting the skyle hardware with an iPad Pro (newest model as ofMar 20220) using the little square box which came with it (its purpose to provide power to tablet and skyle whilst allowing both to talk to each other) the skyle hardware then crashe. It disconnects, reconnects and disconnects then reconnects and disconnects…. It only works if table and skyle are directly connected but the iPad Pro will then run out of power eventually.

This app doesn’t provide a way to submit debug logs or any other way to retrieve them (so I could send them over to eyeV). I have written to them already but no response so far.

Don’t buy the skyle 2, it’s buggy and doesn’t work as intended. £2000 out the window. Cannot recommend this product.
