Literally cannot login, too many subrequests apparently
Habitual sign in issues
I would love to use the app on a regular basis, but every time I open the app it requires me to login via BlueSky, after three weeks of attempting to sign in and getting the same error message: "Too many subrequests by single worker invocation...." I've just finally given up and deleted the app. Maybe I'll try again in the future.

Absolutely no updates
The app had been a bit glitchy, which I was chalking up to development, but now I can’t even open the damn app. What are you guys doing there? Any kind of development? I’ve sent emails in regards to this and still have not heard anything.

This app is abandonware. Don’t bother installing it.
The App is Broken
The app has an authentication error after reinstalling and resetting both Bluesky and Skylight Social. This has been going on for weeks now.
Sign ins are broken
Sadly sign ins are broken for both the Bluesky api and direct username input. Probably won’t try again any time soon, issues both times I tried to use the app.
This App No longer works
Thought I’d give it another shot since it was still on my phone. 1st attempt couldn’t log in. Error: too many oauth login attempts, time out. (After 1 login attempt). Deleted app, redownloaded, force crash, deleted app, redownloaded, force crash
Constant login required
I want to love this app but it has a non-starter bug: I need to either re-login EVERY TIME I USE IT or i need to force-quit it to get it to recognize my login. So, as it is, it’s too frustrating to use.
Can’t run on my phone (iPhone 8)
Downloaded the app hoping to find a good TikTok alternative but I can’t get into it, it immediately crashes. This happens with apps that no longer run on ios 16 but it’s frustrating. Please see if you can fix this

Democrat echo chamber
They all agree they hate MAGA and Trump, and rightfully so, but yelling into a bucket does nothing but prove your a typical ineffective Democrat. Unfortunately they banned me after I kept getting reported for asking one creator after another “that’s all fine, but what are you DOING to make change and progress?” Everything got reported. Oh well. One less social media company I don’t have to worry about achieving success and taking over.

Please invest in an IT team or something because this app is constantly tweaking out on me. I love it, I love the concept, I love that it’s not run by awful people. But please!!! Please give us an update that will help all these bugs/freezing/stalling

Very buggy
Keeps crashing, glitching, or just going to a blank screen. It’s just a video viewer for the Bluesky app, which already plays videos. 🤷♂️

Could be good, but bad. Constantly signing me out, constantly freezing and crashing.
Amazing App if only they would fix never ending sign issues.
If I can go a week without having sign in issues I’ll update to a 5 star review. It’s a basic feature that needs to be addressed right away. February 6, 2026.
Like TikTok and insta had an ad free baby
It’s really nice having an app that’s like a combination of Twitter, TikTok, and Instagram. It does still have some bugs however, the Skylight social team seems to be really good about staying on top of that stuff and really receptive of information in regards to something not working correctly in the App or something that could actually help the app to function better. I also LOVE that every other video is not an ad or a TikTok shop item. Videos and articles and postings from people like TikTok used to be in the beginning. I wish I had switched sooner.
