This recent is the best one so far, am so glad I got this app quite early to experience all the new updates. Must have for travel nerds.

Use maps for the same feature in free mode

The free mode does not give me enough. I need immediately the pro mode to see much more. What I do see are the coordinates and the next city, and even the next city was not precise enough in the free mode. I only see the coordinates and the next city. That's it. If I open any maps function, I can see the same, and I see it even virtually, so this app does not make much sense for me. Ok, maybe if you are in an airplane and want to see it and they claim you can check your location in the airplane, then it's valid, but for everything else I do not see much sense.

Thanks for the feedback. SkyLocation is not a maps replacement. Maps are for navigation, SkyLocation is for instant offline location awareness when internet, signal or map data is not available. It gives coordinates, city/country, altitude, speed, Horizon and private location history with no login, ads, tracking or subscription. Pro is only 2.99€ one-time, kept intentionally affordable for a tool that can be very useful when you actually need it.

Must have for frequent flyer

Great offline feature support. Hard to come by these days. Great and simple to use UI.

Does exactly what it claims to do. Fast location fix depending on your view of the sky. Exactly what I was looking for.

An offline location app with amazing potential

Shows your exact location, altitude, and speed during flights without needing internet. It is pretty easy to comprehend and a handy tool for anyone curious about in flight statistics. Can also be used during outdoor explorations which makes it really cool.

We're surprised to hear this. SkyLocation has been working reliably for thousands of users worldwide. However, GPS apps can fail if: - Location permissions aren't set to "Precise" (Settings → Privacy) - Device is indoors without window access - iOS has a known GPS bug (fixed by restarting device) Please email supportwith your device model and what specifically didn't work (GPS timeout? Wrong city? App crash?). We'll troubleshoot immediately. If there's a genuine bug, we fix it fast - see our track record in other reviews.

Improve your in-flight experience

I used this app to detect my location while in-flight which was super fun!! Amazing to see where you are while having a snack and drinking coffee on board in 10km height! Looking forward to what's coming next! ✈️📍
