What's New in SkyLogic

1.4.0

August 30, 2026

Version 1.4.0 introduces METAR reports to SkyLogic. Pilots can retrieve current aviation weather observations from the AviationWeather.gov API by searching for an ICAO station or using latitude and longitude coordinates. Each report presents decoded weather conditions alongside the original raw observation, with validation and network error handling provided by the METAR service. METAR reports are available from the More tab above FAA sectional charts.
