Doesn’t work

Awful. iPhone 17 pro max crashes 100% of the time at the load screen

Doesn’t work

Doesn’t work on my phone or iPad. Obtuse system requirements and constant connection issues. At best it get two holes in best it disconnects again

Not good

Poorly written. Just a small version of desktop app

App is absolutely terrible

Every time I try to log into the app, it keeps lagging and them shuts off. And when It does work, I try to download a course and it just shuts off. I would definitely recommend skytrak to fix the app ASAP

Connection Issues

This device has major connections issues. Having to always restart the device every other hole SUCKS! We’ve asked for a fix but there is none in sight smh

NOT CONSISTENT

For the price It’s just full of issues. Log in, data sync, not recording shots, delays, etc. very frustrating. These are easy development fixes that I just don’t understand understand why they don’t fix them instead of spending time on stupid snowman and pumpkin driving ranges

Unusable

App is too inconsistent to be usable. Sometimes it loads and connects most times it does not. Only consistent option is for the unit to be hardwired to a PC.

Still buggy

Continual dropout from device. App tries to tell me a high end iPhone 17 Pro Max is not enough processor!

Meh

Update 12/8/2025: They patched the login issue, but after I upgraded my membership, I’m not able to use any of the features that the upgraded membership unlocked. The issue seems to go beyond just the iPad app. It’s the exact same on MacOS and Windows. Also, my custom bag clubs do not update. I change the clubs and it doesn’t save. If there’s some server maintenance at play, they need to send out error messages, because this is ridiculous. Wasted my entire evening installing, uninstalling, logging out, logging in. Even the website is unable to show me any of my stats from past sessions. The most recent update made it so I have to log in every time I open the app even if I have stay logged in selected. It also always asks me to make a user account even though I have an account already. Sometimes I need to restart the app multiple times to get it to connect to the SKYTRAK. Restarting the iPad doesn’t seem to help.

Works but consumes a lot of power

Devs - having to login to the app every time it’s launched stinks, let’s go with a fix please?

Update for 5.8
Login State is not saved, have to log in every use.
App crashes during use, seems random.
Runs slow after 10 minutes or so of use, takes 10-15 seconds interpreting a shot.

Previous Comments are still true, a lot of power being used in iPad.

The app works fine on iPad Pro 12.9” but it rips through the battery at an unprecedented pace. While you might say just leave it plugged in, that still generates a ton of heat and also wears the battery. The same thing happens on my M1 MacBook Pro 15”. I hope this is a bug and not really how the app is supposed to work.

Would also be nice to delete shots in history after the fact. And map bag across sessions instead of doing it all at one time.

New update

New update causing software to crash in my IOS. Worked fine before this latest update. Not sure what’s changed but would not recommend updating to current versions until flaws are worked out.

Spend more time restarting than swinging

Beyond frustrating

App keeps crashing after recent app update

App crashes within a min or two after logging in and starting a range session

Crashing after upgrading

After upgrading at 10/31/25 on lPad, it keeps crashing. Skytrak should compensate for this problem.

New update is crashing

Was working flawlessly on my iPad Air but after the latest update it crashes after 1 minute every time I open it even if I am just on the Home Screen. Need to fix ASAP.

App update crashes constantly

Congrats on releasing a new update that crashes constantly. Would think stability would be a priority but I guess it never has been great. However, with this update I get one shot before the whole thing crashes again and again.

Crash centric after the update

Do not upgrade - this app crashes on iPad

Great app but needs the right hardware

This app works with the Skytrak and Skytrak+ launch monitors but requires an Apple M series chip to run on iPad. The ST Lite sister app works very well on lesser hardware (older iPhones and iPads) but lacks courseplay functionality. This information is all clearly stated on the Skytrakgolf website.

The app itself works very well but requires a subscription for all but the most basic features. I’ve had the Essentials package for some time and it provides excellent feedback on every shot on a variety of driving ranges, practice greens and practice fairways.

I recently upgraded to the Course Play package which provides a host of top name courses but costs about half the price of some golf club memberships. I would like to see the option for a pared down course play subscription with maybe a handful of courses at a much reduced rate
