SlalomCam

SlalomCam is an iPhone camera app designed specifically for filming slalom waterskiing from the boat. Set your preferred trigger speed and SlalomCam automatically starts recording as the boat reaches that speed, then stops when the boat slows down again. No need for someone in the boat to constantly operate the camera. AUTOMATIC RECORDING Using the iPhone’s GPS speed, SlalomCam automatically starts and stops recording during a ski set. Choose your trigger speed in either km/h or mph and SlalomCam takes care of the recording. AUTOMATIC SKIER FOCUS SlalomCam uses Apple Vision to automatically detect the skier before the pass. The camera focuses on the skier and holds focus steady during recording, helping prevent spray, wake and background movement from pulling focus away. ADVANCED STABILISATION Choose from: • Standard • Pro Wide • Pro Ultra Wide Pro modes use the strongest compatible stabilisation available for the selected iPhone camera, resolution and frame rate. SlalomCam 4.0 further improves Pro stabilisation and camera exposure behaviour for smoother footage and better motion clarity during high-speed skiing. PASS INFORMATION OVERLAY Optionally add skier information directly to the saved video, including: • Requested ski speed • Rope length / line length Supported rope lengths range from 18.25 m / 15 off through to 9.75 m / 43 off. The displayed requested speed is manually selected pass information and is not a measurement of actual boat speed.
