New issues are not being uploaded to the service. BUYER BEWARE.
Crappy app
I bought a subscription through the App Store and I cannot view new issues. When I called slam tech support they said they don’t see my account and said they don’t even have a digital edition of the magazine! How are they selling a product h they say they done even have?

Big Upgrade
Took years but they finally upgraded the app to work like the modern magazine apps mostly do. They could still do more to design it specifically to be used on a tablet but I'm happy they at least put the effort into it that they did and for $9 a year it's a no doubter to me.

I do enjoy reading SLAM magazine online with the iOs system. No problems on my iphone 6 and the magazine is just as good as the subscription I read through the mail. Keep up the good work SLAM.
New update can't pull up magazine any longer Don't buy this
What happened Slam Magazine? There was the latest app update through iTunes and now it doesn't recognize my subscription? I go to purchase it again, then it finds my subscription but I can't access any of the monthly magazines that were available prior to this latest download. Where's the fix to this screw up??

I can't restore any issue from my subscription since i had updated this app.
I don't think you are not aware of this problem. And can't understand the way you handle this issue. Please try to find what's wrong with and fix ASAP.

Horrible Update
Since Slam left Pixel Mags & are now with The Enthusiast Network the app is absolutely horrible. I don't know why they left Pixel Mags. I'm missing issues that I purchased & issues aren't showing in my library. Very, very poor.
I HAVE AN ISSUE WITH MY ISSUES!!!
I installed the iOS update recently and when I opened the Slam App, all my issues were gone! It's not the first time that the has happened but, at least before, my purchased issues still appear and I would just re-download them. It was a hassle but nothing compared to this. And, the "Restore All Purchases" function is utterly useless because it keeps failing.
Slam Ed.'s, I hope you fix this immediately. I have been a Slam subscriber since Grandmama was on the over and Shaq was button' rims in Orlando. I've never been disappointed until now.

Update please!!
Updated and now I must subscribe again to read the magazine when I already had a update?? Doesn't even restore issues when trying to work around having to re subscribe. Help us regular people who don't have money to be re-spending on this magazine when we already did!
Not so happy subscriber
I would like to let you guys know that the application needs a update. The reason why I say that is because there's always a issue with the application. One of the issues is that I would have to sign in to my account a number of time within the a week. I downloaded the application thinking that it would be better for me to get the issues on my tablet instead of having a paper issue. It's convenient, but the lag on the issues are tremendously slow. I would finish a issue with in a week or so after I download it, but when I'm in a store I would see the new issue. I'm not sure what the time lapse is or, if it's a new issue every 2-3 months. My issue now is that I can't view any of my issues. I deleted the application, and signed back in. Nothing!!! What it gives me now is a cover page for new subscribers, that it's free for 30 days. When I click on the option that I'm already subscribed it buffers and won't bring up anything. Maybe it's time for me to renew the subscription , but in no way should it lock me out from viewing my past issues that I paid for.i keep the application solely for the purpose of me not having paper issues, because I use my tablet everyday. Please let me know if I'm doing something wrong or if it's a problem your end.

Rip off
You would think that the publishing industry would have learned something from the music or movie industry by now. Nope. Instead, most of them are shooting themselves in the foot by charging current print subscribers full price for digital access. I understand there is additional cost associated with having a digital version, assuming none of the magazines are doing a strict PDF conversion. But really? Not even a penny off? Just so that you can lie to advertisers about how many subscribers you really have by counting me as two?

- I don't have a print subscription, so I can't comment on those reviews, but the app does have a subscription area under the "more" button where print subscribers should be able to get the digital version for free. Then again, I could be wrong.

Don't buy!!!!
I used to love Slam, now it just crashes as soon as I open the app. I committed to buy a year subscription and it won't even open. Don't waste your money on the year subscription like I did. A huge waste of $10.

Love SLAM for the articles and great photography. This looks great on my iPhone and iPad. Very excited to have a digital version to match my extensive print collection.
