Old phones

If you have an older ape device, this app work work properly because it operates with apple intelligence.

I wish you can download a local ai model like gemma 3.

Response from developer

That makes sense. Reflections run on Apple Intelligence, which Apple supports on iPhone 15 Pro and newer, and there is nothing we can do to change that. On older iPhones, recording, transcripts, and playback all work fully.

Beautiful, private

The app is visually so simple and beautiful, but there is so much thought and care that clearly went into this. I finally feel safe during my deepest thoughts, knowing everything will stay on my device. Slate is like having a therapist with your best interests in your pocket.

Response from developer

Thank you.

Why you don’t support Hebrew

It’s so simple today with AI to support every language, why is the languages list so limited

Response from developer

Supporting every language is easy when audio goes to a server, and Slate does not have one. Every word is transcribed by Apple's on-device models, so the list is what those models cover today, and Hebrew is not in it yet. When Apple adds it, Slate gets it, with nothing sent anywhere. Until then we would rather be limited than move your voice off your phone.

Minimal

very simple. I like the weekly reports

Response from developer

Thank you. The weekly review has had the most work of anything since you wrote this. It should read better the longer you use Slate. If you ever experience any issues please email e@hsla0001.com
