The sounds in this app are just great. My baby fell asleep so fast, and I really like the UI it’s simple to use.
Doesn’t Work At All
Downloaded this app but found it won’t even let me try any of the sounds until I watch a video ad. It happened every single time. Could not listen to any or even try a preview to see which one I wanted to listen to. This isn’t a sleep app, is just a con so that the developer can earn advertising revenue by forcing people to watch ads. Forcing people to watch the videos is against advertising policy.

It was ok but there weren’t many sounds I liked.
Love this app
I love this app like the previous reviewer I think it’s amazing and with so many fabulous aspects but I don’t like that there is now ads popping up all over the place. I’d rather pay for this app than suffer watching the ads. Why not make a lite version with continued ads and a full version that you can pay for without the ads? It’s definitely my favourite app for helping with sleep.

Not White Noise
Considering this app is called White Noise it's a bit ridiculous that none of the sounds, even in the white noise category, are actually white noise.

For immediate perspective, this app doesn't have a 'click to leave a review's so I actually had to hunt it down... but after my sleep results, it's so worth it!
I set
-"Rain",
-Isochronic tones
-& Biaural
for "Dreamless Sleep" and with much dubiousness settled down for the night.
Historically I am a dreadful sleeper (I've even played with Dymaxion polyphasic cycles because I sleep so little, so badly)
To my very genuine amazement, after a few minutes of listening (and thinking "this'll never work") I woke up, almost to the minute, 6 x 90 minute cycles later. Refreshed, comfortably drifting awake, stunned...
Wow indeed.
For some extra context and help - it was a stormy night and that alone usually has me waking up time and time again. I set the sound level so that the two tones (Isochronic and BiAural) were just slightly louder than the rain, but the overall system sound was barely audible.
Terribly impressed and very, very grateful!

The promise is in the name, so far never been disappointed. I’ve tried every app like this and this is by far the Best.

New update is irritating
Loved the app until the update, now I can’t lock my screen without the music turning off or keep my phone on vibrate. Sound and screen both have to be on... kind of defeats the purpose when I’m using the app to put my kid to bed.

Sorry, an update is being sent to Apple today that will fix the background sound issue and add extras. Distant Drums, Lotus Garden & Relaxing Piano

Ore Major Flaw
I have several sound generating apps to help me get to sleep but I'm always on the lookout for more. This looked to be a very nice app. Several different, quality restful sounds with a quick, easy to set timer option and a one touch option to play the previous sound and timer. However, it has one fatal flaw. It stops playing when I quit the app. I use an alarm clock app (Wake, HIGHLY recommended) so I need the sound generator to keep playing. If you can keep the app running during the night it's a 5 star app. If you need to turn it off look elsewhere.
A follow up to my review: The developer has now added that feature. However, there's one small problem. If you choose one of the timers and then quit the app the sound keeps playing but the timer stops. So the next morning the sound is still playing. Back to the drawing board, guys.

Thank you for the feedback. So good it was that our development team have implemented your suggestion and it has been sent off to Apple for approval for an app update. The sound will now keep playing when the app is not in the foreground.
