Sleep Talk User Reviews

Not actually all that bad, but still a bit buggy.

i don’t really get all the generally negative reviews on this app. it’s usually worked great for me, albeit a bit unreliable. one issue i’ve been having as of late is that the app won’t open on my phone. also, some nights it either won’t record or wont save the recording. however, with a few bug fixes and improvements, mostly to reliability, this app works great and doesn’t have all the unnecessary stuff that other apps do

Do Not Buy

Very Complicated! If you just want to know hiw you sleep! Do not purchase!!

Totally worthless

In 10 years of using a lot of apps for my Apple products this is by far the most useless app I’ve seen. I bought in bundle with Sleep plus 3

Killed my watch

Killed my watch after 3 hours of using the app while I slept! Most of my talking comes about five hours into sleep so this app is absolutely worthless to me and I’ll be asking apple for my money back

Drains the battery

Using sleep Pulse 3 & Sleeptalk at the same time on a AppleWatch series 4 is useless. I tried it 3 days in a row when the battery was at 100% and I woke up to a my Apple watch not having any battery anymore (I slept between 6-7h). This was a pure waste of money. Why recommend this app as an add on of Sleep Pulse 3 if they cannot be used together??? Waste of money!!!

Not saving

I purchased this app thinking it would be great to find out what I am saying. The app only worked once and now once I wake up it is not saving the files to review. It says it was recording but not able to view the file. Don’t waste your money until they fix this issue. I will be looking for a different app to use.

Response from developer

Thank you for the review, if problems are occurring with Sleep Talk please look into contacting support. For some Apple Watch's based on the model, placing your Apple Watch on the charger bedside while you sleep and running Sleep Talk is best for its use to ensure the app runs in best performance. Reinstalling the watch app may help as well with future sleeps.

Battery drain

I wouldn’t know what the app does because I went to sleep with 100% battery and then I woke up with 0%! The app drained the whole battery! Do not recommend

Response from developer

Thank you for the review, Sleep Talk may be used while bedside and placed on the charger. If used with a First Generation or 38mm Apple Watch which have older/smaller batteries, it is recommended the app is used while charging bedside as noted in the app's description. Sleep Talk is best used when placed on the charger bedside. If worn on wrist activating airplane mode will lessen its energy use; ensure before wake airplane mode is disabled so the data may sync with your iPhone.

Novel App for Apple Watch!

What a neat app for Apple Watch the app works flawlessly on my Watch even through the entire night and syncs well to Sleep Pulse. However I think your use will vary with how you sleep.. the app uses quite a bit of battery life if worn, though when placed on charger it’s fine. But so far just a min or two of sheet shuffling. Maybe I’m not a talking or being abducted like aliens ah man 😅. I don’t think using every night is practical. I don’t know results probably will vary.
