This app has been ruined deliberately.
As I have used this app and can confirm that it is now rubbish after being good..
And others on the reviews have stated that as well.. the screen needs to be on so and app running actively so that the sound keeps playing.. it also has bugs like you can’t remove the ambient sound after selecting it..

Awesome app to use when flying.
I don’t like to fly very much but have to for work. A fellow passenger told me about this app after seeing I was a white knuckle flyer.
That was about 6 months ago and now, I actually looking forward to it thanks to this app.
I also have started using it to help with focusing my concentration at work when it starts to stray and it works just as good for stress as well

It only plays while open…
It shuts off the sound when it is closed. So the app only works while open defeating the purpose of a sound sleep machine.
Won't work if phone goes to sleep
If your phone goes to sleep or you switch out of the app, all sounds quit. Pointless to use if you are trying to fall asleep as you have to keep it open and active.

Update ruined it
Used to use it every night. Now I’m deleting it because the update ruined the ability to turn off the screen and still listen to it. Now it turns off every time I leave the app. So I’m order to listen to it you have to be inside the app. Junk now. Too bad, was the best one I could find until now.
Just needs Apple Music
It is very handy. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I can’t later in my own music. It won’t even let me run Apple Music in the background. When one app turns on, the other goes silent.

This app become an instant favorite in my house! We literally sleep and meditate to it daily!
Usability/ interface issues
Please fix the interface, there is no means to stop the background music or white noise (ie « remove » function not responsive). Need to force quit the app to reset. Otherwise, it’s got great potential.
Helpful program
I’ve been using this program for a few weeks and find it helpful for falling and staying asleep. Two suggestions: 1. allow for saving different transitions/programs instead of having to enter them each time; 2. add an ambient music option as a choice since the app is meant to be layered with music

Nice app
Enjoying the ability to make my own sets and save them to the presets. So far I have only worked with sleep cycles. But plan to play with meditation cycles too. Sound is clear and adjustable. easy app to work with.
