I refuse to pay for the basics
lost connection?
I redownload sleepiest thinking I would listen to the old stories I use to listen to (specifically Night on mars by Jared)
But it keeps on telling me I have lost connection even though I’m at full bars. I click on it again and have to watch a 2 minute add, I watch it and when it finishes it kicks me out and I’m left with the same problems. This app has changed and not for the better,

Really really good, especially if you can’t afford other Similar apps
I love a good sleep story as I’ve struggled to fall asleep literally my whole life, my parents would read to me until what was likely seen as too old so listening to a story from my phone really helps me to sleep even now as an adult. I’ve tried lots of apps and lots are great, however they’re often quite expensive.
What I love about this app however is that even though there’s an option to pay and unlock all of the content that way, you can unlock one story for 24 hours by watching I believe it’s three short adverts. I also appreciate how the adverts aren’t random ones that could wake you up if you’re feeling tired, it’s normally somebody from the app sharing the benefits of a subscription so it’s calm and not overwhelming.
There are so many different themes as well, and lots fit around holidays and seasons too, as well as having different accents, which as someone who finds American accents to sometimes be a bit non relaxing, it’s really nice as most apps I’ve used only really have American accents which isn’t a huge problem of course but it’s lovely to have the option.
The app is set out really nicely as well, it runs very smooth for me and I find it really easy to find the content that I’m looking for each night.
The app is really amazing and I do hope that the developers keep the feature of unlocking content with the ads, as this can help people with a lower budget to sleep soundly too, as I’m sure it already is.

The new updates to the app are absolutely fantastic. I’m not usually into changing anything about anything in my life but this is one of those things that is pawsome (yes I have kitties and a service dog). This app has changed my life 180°!

for something i’m expected to pay for 15 pound a month id expect the story thumbnails not to be generated by ai. might aswell just use audiobooks, or youtube videos of people reading actual story books
when i went to cancel the subscription the app tried to guilt trip me about how disappointed my “children” would be, even though i don’t have kids???
it is crazy to me that apple is advertising this to literally anybody. i can see the mounds of positive reviews and it makes me wonder what this app was like before AI had became so popular.
