Sleepy Time Crime

Sleepy Time Crime is a library of cosy British mysteries written to be fallen asleep to. Every story is a complete, gentle whodunit: a village, a puzzle, a sleuth who takes their time, and an ending that arrives softly. The narrators keep an even, unhurried pace. Nothing jumps out at you. The mystery is there if you stay awake for it, and it will keep until tomorrow night if you don't. SIX SLEUTHS, SIX VOICES • Hamish MacLeod, retired detective, on the whisky coast of the Highlands • Violet Threadneedle, the sharpest eye in the parish of St Dunstan's • The Kent sisters, the village vets, whose patients are usually the first to notice something is wrong • DCI Birdy Quayle, working quiet cases in the Cotswolds • Mother Ashe, the wise woman of Caddesley, sent for when something in the village slips out of true • Bert Marrow, the butcher of Saltby Staithe on the Norfolk coast MADE FOR THE END OF THE DAY • Sleep timer with a gentle fade, so the story never ends abruptly • Playback resumes where you drifted off • Screen dims while you listen • Lock-screen and headphone controls • Save stories offline for travel or a bad connection • A soft ambient sound bed between stories, never during them FREE TO START The first 20 minutes of one mystery from each sleuth are free.
