Somehow better than I remember it
I didn’t imagine myself buying a game from my childhood in the big ‘26, but here I am! This was incredibly well-made for its time. Simple concept of needing to survive Slenderman in a spooky setting. Happy with how smoothly it has run on my old Apple iPad and now on my newer iPhone. Well-worth the price, too!

Wish the creator would make a remake with the more powerful hardware and software available now! Even an update with new features on Slender Rising and the 2nd one would be so cool! This game is still fun and well-made!

Used to have this on my old account
Used to have this game on my old account on my iPhone 5s. So I decided to come back and rebuy it to see if I can get the nostalgia of once playing this game. It’s still a great game don’t get me wrong. It’s just the screen size was never updated to fit the new iPhone 12 mini (and I’m guessing all iPhone 10 and up) so I’m forced to play like I was on the iPhone 5s. It’s not a bad purchase though, just wish this was fixed and it’s highly unlikely it will be (last update 5 years ago). 3 stars.

Still Great In 2021!
I’ve had this game ever since it came out, and it’s amazing that it still manages to give me thrills every time I play it. The environments, the sound design, the music, it all comes together to make a truly console-quality experience (at least when it came out.) Even though it’s old, Slender Rising (and Slender Rising 2) are both still scary and still fun to this day. They are simple, but I think that’s part of their magic.
I do wish this game was still updated however, as playing it on an iPhone 12 Pro certainly emphasizes the fact that this game was designed for iOS 4 and much less powerful devices... I would love to see this game updated, or maybe even a new game in the series built for modern devices! Either way, it’s impressive that it still runs fine without bugs on iOS 14.
I’m also impressed with the large number of options available in the game. It’s is highly configurable in both gameplay and controls, and this actually adds some replay value as well.
If you find this game and are a fan of horror games, I highly recommend it even in 2021!! Sit down with some headphones in the dark, and prepare for a genuinely scary experience.

Great game, but no sound ?
Is this a bug or just my device ? Because one day i had music/sounds but the next nothing. Other than that great basic game, my whole childhood.
