About
Slept is a private dream journal built on one promise: your dreams never leave your phone.
No account. No sign-up. No server. No analytics. Everything Slept does — from transcribing your voice to finding the threads that run through months of dreams — happens on the device in your hand.
CAPTURE AT 6AM, HALF AWAKE
Dictate a dream straight from the list — a dark, quiet listening screen transcribes on-device while you talk. Or just type. Everything saves as you go; there is no save button, because there's nothing to remember to do.
DREAM ANALYSIS, ON-DEVICE
Apple Intelligence reads each dream and offers a short theme — never an interpretation. Slept never tells you what a dream means. It shows you patterns and leaves the meaning to you.
THE MAP
Your dreams as a night sky. Dreams that share an underlying theme gather into constellations, connected by fine lines; recurring dreams burn brighter. Pan, zoom, tap any star to reread the dream beneath it.
THE DICTIONARY
Ten Thousand Dreams Interpreted (G. H. Miller, 1901 — public domain, abridged): over two thousand entries, searchable, including a mode that shows only the words your own dreams contain. Always the book's opinions, never Slept's.
IT LEARNS YOUR IMAGES — ON YOUR TERMS
Recurring images across your dreams feed back into future analyses, so Slept recognises your symbols from your own journal — never from a symbol dictionary.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Everything on-device: writing, dictation, analysis, connections
• No account, no analytics, no tracking — nothing you read is recorded
• Deleting a dream deletes it; there is no copy anywhere to recover
• One-time component download (best on Wi-Fi) — the download never includes anything you've written
GOOD TO KNOW
• Dream analysis requires Apple Intelligence. Without it, Slept is still a full journal — writing, dictation, and the dictionary work everywhere.
• Fully offline after the one-time download.
• Your own device backups may include your journal — your settings, your call.
Slept is a private journal. It is not a medical, diagnostic or therapeutic service, and nothing it shows is advice.
