Good idea
Really buggy. Almost always had to manually enter time stamps and dates. App doesn’t even let me log back on any more it keeps taking me back to home screen.
Undecided
Landscape view with notes on the right? Can you do it?
Fails to recognize ANY kind of writing
While the app analyses the time slots, it can NEVER capture my writing.
It’s not like it captures the writing wrong- it just doesn’t capture it. I get the title of “new event” for every calendar slot. And then I have to type in the event. Well if I’m typing it in anyway- why bother with the written planner? It’s one function is to aid you to write more, type less and translate written to digital- it fails completely.
This doesn’t seem to be a bug issue, but just a poorly planned app.

Very Incredibly Upset
I am a college student who was extremely excited for this planner. Overall, it was extremely disappointing. The app works sometimes at finding the events, but NEVER reads my handwriting. I have tried looking up videos, using different writing utensils, and looking at the instructions but nothing changes. This planner and app promises a lot, and quite frankly, does not deliver on any of those promises.

Inaccurate Scanning
Scanning is inaccurate. It’s the only thing the app does, and it does it poorly.
Perfect
Thank you for good product and app.
Disappointed
Bought the planner and downloaded app. Can only view things in a set 12 hour period (i.e. 5am-5pm) and won’t show calendar activities outside of that period. I don’t know of anyone who limits life to only 12 out of 24 hours. Essentially the planner and app won’t be anything I can actually use. Extremely disappointed.

Lovely paper product
The app is literally useless. On the second page I got a message saying “none of my calendars are editable. Choose another calendar”. There is no option or way to choose another option so is therefore completely useless. I have deleted the Slice App and will not bother you again. Thanks for nothing.

Just Right
I have searched high and low but could not find a planner that was just what I needed. I was skeptical when I decided to try this planner but I was not disappointed. I am a visual person and this planner fits my needs on paper and digitally.
Have planner. No way to use app without a qr code
Bought the planner a while back. Was a little excited to try it so I could see everything at a glance and use different colors in the planner. I'm unable to use the app bc I don't have a qr code. Maybe I didn't save someting I should have but the QR code should be in the planner imo. So my rating isn't complete but for the time being I think 2 stars is what they deserve for design and style of the planner. The other 3 are for the app I can't even set up.

Almost useful
Works with the paper planner and adds a touch of cool tech to an otherwise useless system. The app and planner only allow for 9 1/2 hours of scheduling per day and the app, while fairly accurate when scanning the “wheel” from the paper planner, still involves plenty of editing and fine tuning before populating a digital calendar.
All in all a great idea but sorely misses the mark.

Nice enough, looking forward to improvements
I love the idea of being able to seamlessly connect a physical planner with my iCal, and on that level this worked beautifully. It takes your brain a minute to wrap around the circular layout vs a linear planner, and the circle is a little small if you have a lot of 15 minute time frames. I like the cross-sync ability with iCal, this is by far the best planner, or even time/project management tool in that regard. However, I can’t get the app to recognize my handwriting even a little, I have to type in the name of all my appointments, and my handwriting is very neat. Also there is little to no instruction, you just click around to figure things out. This isn’t the most intuitive app, so that gets a little frustrating, but I’m willing to stick with it for the functions it does offer.

The kickstarter video is a pure fantasy... it does not do anything other than scanning the shaded parts of the diagram...
Don't waste your money

Totally over-promises
And delivers nothing
Good analog/digital planner
I’ve been using this system since I backed it on Kickstarter. I have all the iOS/iTunes updates and have been successfully having both my digital calendar and notebook up to date without any issues. I’d like to see additional diagrams on the left page for tracking generic information.
Disappointed
I supported the kickstarter campaign, and was very excited about the product. But the app is useless and keeps crashing. I cannot scan the events I write in my planner as is one of the main functions of the product and app. Let's go Evopaper, stop with the blog posts and everything else your doing, and fix/update the app to have the product that we supported and invested in WORK! If not, I could have purchased a regular calendar and journal to write in.

Complete waste of movie
This was a kickstarter campaign where they illustrated a functioning software. Once the software was out, you couldn't use it unless you spend money for their notebook. Once I had the notebook, nothing works. SCAM FRAUD
I'lm sure they will suggest a fix and all you'll need to do is pay more. DELETE, THROW AWAY, AVOID.

Disastrous. Released far too early. Nonfunctional.
The single star so that it shows up on the App Store at all. After attempting to download the app, and the QR code does not work, the app called up in email which is then unsendable.
This planner was a Christmas gift in December 2016. I will not tell this to the person who gave me the planner, but it is an enormous and confusing disappointment.
Do not buy this planner. Do not buy this app.

Sounded Great, Bad Execution
As I am trying to bridge the gap between old fashion, and the digital age this seemed like an excellent idea. In actuality what has been produced falls very short of meeting minimum expectations.
The most functional piece that I have found in this entire experience is actually the radial diagram/graph representing your daily calendar. The short story is that you do not need the expensively priced notebook to use that calendar. Having hoped that others have adopted this use of a calendar - I immediately searched to find a calendar app like it on the app store - no luck.
The functions related to screen capture and sending via email or cloud do not work. Having used Scanner Pro for the past year - near flawlessly, I would say that the scanning ability of this app is far inferior. While the concept sounded amazing I do think the company needs time to work out any kinks and flaws. In addition it would appear that the "send to cloud" function only is useful to Google drive, although I'm not 100% on this - as I've not ben able to get even that to work at this time.
I suppose that part of what's going on is/was the need to produce a product for the many backers of this kickstarter project. They were multiple delays in the software, and clearly there's more than just a couple of bugs to fix. I'm hopeful that in the upcoming months the company will be able to produce a product that they had hoped for. Until that time though, my recommendation is to wait but maybe check back often.
