About

One photo, cut into equal parts that still read as one picture. Columns make a carousel you swipe through. Rows make a post you scroll down. Or pick a ready-made format, and the parts come out in the shape the network wants. CUT • Rows or columns: the whole photo divided into equal parts • Ready-made formats for Instagram, Threads and other networks: 4:5 and 1:1 carousels, a 3:4 profile grid three tiles across, tall 3:4 posts and full-screen 9:16 • Each format offers its own choice of how many parts to cut • Place the grid on the photo and size it: the parts come out in that exact shape whatever the photo is • The cuts are drawn on the photo before you confirm; a tall photo suggests rows, a wide one columns, and your last choice is remembered • Cut from the original pixels: nothing is resampled, nothing loses quality • Photos with rotation metadata come out upright SAVE AND SHARE • Save every part to Photos in one tap, or any single part on its own • Send all the parts at once through the share sheet • Add-only access to your photo library: Slicer never reads what is already there KEEP • Every cut stays in the gallery with its format, its number of parts and the date • Open it again to save, share, or cut the same photo a different way • Delete what you are done with, and undo it if you change your mind IPHONE AND IPAD • One app for both, in light and dark appearance • On iPad the photo and the controls sit side by side, and a photo can be dropped straight onto the gallery • Open a photo in Slicer from Photos or Files • A Cut Photo action for Shortcuts and Siri ACCESSIBILITY • VoiceOver labels and hints throughout, and every save, cut and delete is announced • Every gesture in the editor has a named action, so Voice Control and Full Keyboard Access reach it too • Reduce Motion, Reduce Transparency, Increase Contrast, Differentiate Without Color and Smart Invert are all respected Works offline. No account, no tracking, nothing collected. Six languages.

What's New in Slicer

1.1

October 20, 2026

Slicer 1.1 is about reliability. - Cutting large photos takes less memory. - A photo opened in Slicer from Files or iCloud Drive loads in the background, and waits for the download if it is still in the cloud. - A cut that cannot be opened returns you to the gallery instead of loading forever. - Error messages, including those from the Shortcuts action, are now in your language. - VoiceOver describes the editor preview by the photo and its number of parts.
