The game mechanics will seem to be broken (awful) if you are expecting to drag pieces to move them. Pieces move toward the space the instant they are touched. If you then drag your finger to the former space (but which now contains the moved piece) the piece will move back. Instead, if you simply tap pieces to move them, this should work as you expect. When you think about it this way, dragging your finger to then move the NEXT piece is logical and efficient. Rather than lifting your finger, moving it to one of the pieces adjacent to the space and tapping again,you can simply drag your finger to the piece. It does take a little practice to really become proficient at this, but it really does make “tile puzzle” type games easier and more fun to play once you get the hang of it.
