Where are the developers gone? Please bring some updates so we can use with newer devices. I can’t use with my Galaxy S24 ultra.

IPhone 13 Pro issue
This app won’t ask permission to use the camera on my IPhone 13 Pro Max, which causes this app to be useless when trying to use my Sling Studio device. All other phones it works fine and asks permission like it is supposed to. Really frustrating!

I attempted to use this app for the first time on the new iPhone 14 pro Max and it’s not wanting to connect. I made sure I selected the sling studio Wi-Fi option but still was unsuccessful. Not sure if it’s the new operating system or the phone itself! Hopefully an update will fix the issue. To be able to use this app for a secondary camera option for my church is very helpful because we don’t have to purchase another camera! The new iPhones have unmatched camera quality!

This app needs UPDATES ASAP!
I’ve been using sling studio for about 3 years for weekly livestreams with either the cam links on DSLRs or connected to iPhones.
Overall I love the connectivity and features. You can do a very decent production on the go if you know what you’re doing.
Now, has issues when switching to PiP using a audio line-in.
Updates needs:
Please update split screens and be able to switch cameras on split screens.
Update on being able to control the phone’s cameras from the app (zoom, exposure etc,)
Update on selection of phone’s cameras/lenses
More graphics!
Be able to use more than 2 video sources at once.

Was good for a short time
Our church got about one good year of use from the unit. After that it was nothing more than a terrible WiFi router with no range. Signal was so weak you couldn’t connect a phone in the same room. The very unreliable software that was meant to act as a video switcher but connectivity issues out the wazoo and broken contacts on the audio input made this thing a real headache. About 6 months ago I talked the team into switcher studio. It does everything Sling did and better.

I like the product but I would like even better if the app was updated. I am iOS 15.1.1 and tends to shut down occasionally

Camlinks for capture charging issue. Needs Software fix immediately
Issues with Camera Link (leas than a year old) not charging because the battery discharged too low for the charging circuitry to safely restart charging. I am told by the SS FB Group pros thAt I have to replace the whole unit since apparently battery replacement is impossible once it drops below charging status. That your software that prevents it from charging at that point.
Would you be willing to replace my camlink? Or update the software so CamLinks can charge even when they get low like mine?

Please add multi-lens functionality for newer model iPhones, please!
This is a decent app for what it does, but it does need an update, and it needs one really badly. For example, I often have to pinch to zoom in way too far, getting far more pixelization than I’m comfortable with, when the problem could to be solved simply by switching to the 2x telephoto lens of my iPhone 11 Pro. Please, update this app.

Capture doesn’t work with iPhone or iPads
Attempted to use my iPhone and 2 different iPads to capture different angles. The screen stays black on the monitor but through the iPhone/iPad it shows the footage. Please fix this.
iOS updates
Overall I’ve been happy with the product but it seems there any device I’ve updated to iOS 14.2 is now not connecting to the sling studio I go and connected via Wi-Fi it’s Alex and it shows it’s connected but when I go back to the Capture app it’s not showing connected is not proceeding but everything that is 14.1 or earlier is connecting I’ve tried on two iPads and an iPhone that are running 14.2 with the same result of not connecting.Then I attempt with several devices that are running 14.113.9 etc. and they all connect

The app works great but I would love to have some advanced features like the ability to change the white balance.
