Used to be amazing, but…

The app allows you to do amazing things with the edits, but as other people have noted, it no longer saves those edits to the photo album. Worse, it fails silently — as in, it appears to have succeeded, but in fact didn’t. Do not buy until updated!

Doesn't work with ios 15

Doesn't work with ios 15

Saved pictures don't retain depth of field

Whenever I edit a photo using Slor and then save it, the photo shows to be unedited with all depth of field removed, essentially ruining the photo. Shame because it used to work so well.

Great app… not saving??

I’ve used this app for years now, so I don’t want to not give it 5/5

But lately - you cannot save the photos to camera roll after modifying them.

Is this going to be fixed?

Bugs?

Edits won’t save. They just save as unedited photo. Worse still, the attempt at saving edits as an adjustment to the original photo makes the photo lose its portrait-mode editability in iOS Photos app.
Plz fix.

Hope for an update.

Hi, any chance of an update for ios 14 / iphone 12 series?

Not working on these anymore. :(

Excellent!

Fantastic so far, still learning about its capabilities. Using app on an iPhone XR, have tried with both the rear and front cameras.

Can no longer save/export photos

It was an amazing app, then an update changed the UI and I can no longer figure out how to save/export photos. This of course renders the app useless. Please change.

Great Photo app

Yes a great photo app on my iPhone 8 but could do with some instructions - I’ve not been able to find a way of deleting photos that appear stored in the app - those that are modified are of course stored in Photos. I’ve now got to a stage where I cannot load any new files - it’s as though it’s directory has a limited capacity.

Not bad but found one major bug

Had this since day one and overall it’s good but I’ve been using Focos for its advanced options.

On iOS 13 with iPhone 11 Pro the photo browser won’t load the image I select when full screen forcing me to use the mini browser to find the image which takes much more work.

Solid Aperture App

Great app for crazy aperture gimmicks that can turn out pretty decent. *10/2/2019 with new iOS update the save button has been wonky to find at times, rendering the app useless. Weird, just wanted to suggest figuring out that bug.

Problem with ios13.1 has been fix

Overall this app is amazing. Have been using it successfully for month now without any issues. It deserves 5 stars!!! However, after updating to ios13 the safe button has disappeared...makes this app useless. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app but problem persist. Please fix......thank you!!!

Thank you guys for such a fast turnaround..... the safe button is back...and the stars have been updated to the deserted 5...

Not compatible with my phone iphone 7

I have an iPhone 7. It said it “this app is compatible with my iphone.” So I bought it and found out it requires the twin camera to work. So iPhone 7plus or 8 up. If I knew this, I wouldn’t have purchased it. If I had 7plus or 8 it would be awesome.

Please ask Apple for a refund if your phone’s camera doesn’t support Portrait Mode.

The Airbrusher.....

This is just so AWESOME !

This seems to be pointless

I don’t understand after playing around with this app for ages what it’s meant to do.

Basically turns your iPhone X into an iPhone XS

This app is amazing and it does what says on the description realm really well! Definitely recommend!

Love this app!

This app allows me to take photos from ok to wow!

I don’t understand

It seems to me that this app may have have been useful for previous iPhones but with the new adjustable aperture functions in the new iPhones, on my max it kind of seems pointless.

Only half way there

The aperture adjustment effect works well enough, as well as the placement of the focus point. It seems to do a good job of separating complex shapes, such as plants & flowers, from the background. But you can’t adjust the depth in the foreground as well as the background. It’s one or the other. Sometimes there are glitches in the depth map so that pieces of the background get attached to the foreground, even though they are quite far apart distance-wise, and there’s no way to fix it.
What it is lacking is separate exposure adjustment for the background and foreground. I almost always want to darken the background relative to the foreground. Even though I worked on over 20 photos I never felt they got to the point they were finished enough to save them. Background vignette would also be useful.

A Must Have - 5/5

Being able to edit portrait mode photos is something Apple should have brought natively to iOS, but since they haven’t this app is the perfect companion for any casual or pro photographer using any Plus/X model.

Thank you for your response, developer! You told me something I wasn’t aware of.

This app is so good Apple decided to implement this functionality in iOS 12 and the latest iPhone XS.

For those with older devices with a dual camera setup it’s a must have.

Depth data is not removed when modifying. You can always use ‘Revert’ in the iOS Photos app to undo any changes made by Slør.
