The conversations are all blocked to anyone other than the reader (by using your finger to slide across the message). The same applies to images as well (they appear very blurry until revealed with your finger).
The app automatically invites to those who do not have the app should you try to message them.
A major key (Khaled reference) with the app is the notifications. When not using the app, the messages appear as dots and images simply state that an image was received.
All in all, no glitches or hiccups in the app. The process for someone to join or add this takes all of 7 seconds so the process is very minimal. Looking forward to the additions and upgrades that may and surely come in the future.
