Version 4.0.28 not showing batteries
I’m trying to get my batteries to show in the app but it won’t recognise them at all. I tried this on 2xiPhones and a iPad running version 4.0.28 I’ve tried reinstalling the app, restarting Bluetooth and wifi, searching within the app manually, set all the necessary permissions all without success. However it does work on my Android running 4.0.51
Can the developers look into this and update the app for Apple products

Junk App
Used to work fine. Now it doesn’t. The app can “see” my BMS but when I connect to it nothing gets displayed. No battery information at all. So disappointed. I’ll never purchase DALY products again. I’ve found other BMS manufacturers have products that actually work thanks for wasting my money and time.

App stays active in the background and will kill your phone overnight
Restrict it from background activity or make sure to exit the app or your phone will die overnight

I must say reading the reviews I was very sceptical about trying this out, however one I got it connected to my battery with BMS it seems to be working a treat. Once the app has picked up your battery using the Local Monitoring connection then pressing the plus button it works ok & gives you a lot of information about the battery & the state of charge. You have to be a bit patient when first go into the app & it can take about 10 seconds or so to connect, but I must say at the moment I’m well impressed

What happens when no internet available.
I have been using the smartbms application since October and it works for the most part. Recently I was using the app outside of internet connectivity and every time I started the application I started getting full screen pop ups indicating that various sites could not be contacted and they seem to be data collection sites. First point, do we need full page error messages for this? Second point does not the developed indicated they are not collecting data?

A functional app and easy to use
I have used this app since replacing AGM batteries for lithium. It’s neat that it shows the cells within the battery so that you can see how balanced they are. The state of charge is a bit worrying but SoC seems to be not a science as most tools seem to get it wrong. I mostly check the voltage in the app to determine SoC.
What would be nice is some way to log the readings.

Since the app was updated to the latest version 2 days ago, connection via Bluetooth is unreliable. Connection is lost regularly and sometimes I cannot get the BMS reconnected until I restart it!! This is very poor.

App seems actually worse with time. Does not read anything correctly. Delete and reinstall app yields different readings. DALY app on REDODO battery does not function correctly either. Sad

4.0.11 still crashes and is unusable. Have to use an old phone with version v1.1.1 to connect to bms.
No longer functions with iOS 17.7
It crashes within seconds of opening. Deleted and reinstalled: no change.
New updates - crashes as soon as opened
The most recent update, you open the app, get to landing page and click local monitoring and then the app just crashes. Not Happy.
Issues with new updates
New updates are not working well with iPad. Keeps shutting the app down. After 6 or 7 tries to open the app it decides to work. Never had such problems before
