It's on! Can't turn it off!
On a Mac, that's it once you've configered it and turned it on you're stuck. It keeps reswithcing itself on even if you turn it off on all the settings. Customer Sevice arent interested. Keep sending links which are irelevant.

It used to be a good working app, but it recently stopped working. At least out of my country

Used to work great but no more
I'm not sure what changed - maybe an incompatibility with the way Ventura now does things - but the app no longer works. It now hangs in a "Connecting" state, and never connects.
Superb! Best for Media Streaming
Have been using Smart DNS Proxy since 2015. This App is a bonus and has been working properly for me to access US NFX and BBC through my Mac. Thumbs up to the Smart DNS Proxy team.

Disappointing!
This app has great potential, being user friendly, but currently it is TERRIBLE for a paid service. The VPN app disconnects every few seconds or minutes from the server making using your iOS device online completely impossible. The app was fixed for a short period of time roughly in September-October, and the VPN connection was stable, but now it’s back to its old habits. I cannot recommend this app and paid service until the developer fixes the frequent disconnects problem permanently, at which point I shall update my review.

Overall very very good software.
The issue for some apps as games usually to few movie apps seem to need the protection off.

Logging off
This particular update keeps logging me off every 2min. I don’t what the issue was when chatted with the online help section no action taken.

UI NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED
The Smart DNS Proxy 2 for MacOS needs to be improved. First, all the buttons need two clicks to respond. Second, "Favorites" seems doesn't work.
Very poor VPN
I paid but it’s not working at all properly. I lost money behind this.
Perfect
App works seamlessly, and very reliable VPN stays active whether i’m on cellular data or WiFi and switches between them both easily. No noticeable drop in speeds either.
