This app enables secure and efficient enrollment, payment processing, and record-keeping through NFC card integration. Built to serve both Beneficiary Signup Agents and Retailers, the app allows for real-time registration, card activation, and cashless transactions, improving transparency, and making subsidy delivery more efficient than ever. For Beneficiary Signup Agents: Agents can register new beneficiaries on the field, capture necessary information, and activate NFC-enabled subsidy cards linked to the beneficiary’s account. The entire process is streamlined and secured within the app, even in low-connectivity environments. For Retailers: Partnering retailers can scan a beneficiary’s NFC card to accept payments, check available balance, and view transaction history, all from their smartphones or NFC enabled devices. The app ensures fast, secure, and traceable transactions that replace manual and error-prone processes. This first-of-its-kind Smart Energies Subsidy program is part of the broader Smart Energies ecosystem, aimed at leveraging technology and innovation to make cooking gas accessible and affordable to underserved and unserved communities across Nigeria.
