About

Did the lights turn off? Are your plugs in the state you wanted? Smart Home Status checks supported accessories already in Apple Home against your chosen On/Off goals. See what matches, what differs and what could not be verified. Select only the changes you want, review them, then check fresh responses after applying them. - Use Devices to check a compatible accessory or explicitly turn it On or Off. - Create reusable power checklists for supported lights, plugs and switches. - Check current responses and keep unavailable or unsupported items visible. - Review selected changes before applying them; no changes are preselected. - Read the resulting state again instead of assuming a command succeeded. - View accessible Apple Home scenes without executing or editing those scenes. - Choose a soft landscape background or a plain appearance. - Use English or Korean according to your system language. Apple Home access is optional. Compatible HomeKit/HAP and Matter accessories already in Apple Home use Apple's HomeKit API. Support depends on the services and characteristics exposed to the app. The app does not commission Matter devices or create its own Matter network. On iOS 17, Home access is read-only; Home power control requires iOS 18 or later. Optional local device tools remain available without Home permission. Discover, inspect and control supported local UPnP/SOAP devices, including selected legacy Wemo models, on the same Wi-Fi/LAN. Compatibility is device/service-specific; unknown services do not receive generic controls. Home and local-device records are kept separate. Scanning starts only when you choose Scan. No developer-operated cloud account is required. Your checklist references and goals stay on-device. Home data is not supplied to advertising services. Google AdMob banners appear above the bottom navigation after privacy checks; Google's advertising and consent services may still process device data, including for non-personalized ads. Privacy choices and details are available in the app. Apple manages its own Home/account/home-hub services separately. Checks describe responses at the time of a check. They are not continuous background monitoring, physical power measurements or a home-safety guarantee. The app does not include independent cloud control, Google Home or Apple TV UI. Smart Home Status is independent software, not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple, Belkin, Wemo, Google or standards organizations.
