Very slow and often unresponsive
For a while the app worked ok, was a bit slow but recently it has started to get worse. Often when loading the app none it will not load the status of any of the units nor can you control the aircon from the app, several times reloading doesn’t help and it sometimes takes about 15 to 20 minutes to even send a control to one of the units after which the app will be stuck on waiting for a status update from the unit. Major improvements are needed in the performance of the app or server side at Mitsubishi or both.

Dreadful
The clunkiest app in the world… please update
Worst app on app store
How can such an app be released? Please develop a proper one and learn from Daikin we-paid extra for this bs.
Glitchy
Took a long while to setup. Not long after it stopped working so I had to wipe it and start again. Very poor SW from such a reputable company. Disappointed as we paid extra for the wifi-enabled model.
Very poor app
When it works it is very slow and communicating with units, most of the time you just get the spinning wheel and nothing else. For a large company the reliability of this app is very poor and not fit for purpose. If you are looking to control your units with an app, I would recommend you look elsewhere with better reliability

Great app
Works as intended no idea why it has a low rating good to be able to turn on the air conditioner when leaving work to get home to a warm house
Shamefully bad
Everything other reviewers have said - this is the worst app on my phone by a mile. Mitsubishi can afford to pay for proper app developers. Whoever designed and built this should start again. Preferably in another company. I won’t recommending Mitsubishi to others and I hope management wake up to the damage this is doing to their brand.

Slow and Unresponsive
This is hands down the worst app I’ve ever used. Clunky and slow. It’s not even like it has a load of fancy features to warrant it being clunky. I got air con I could control with an app - had I known how useless the app was I never would’ve gone for this air con. Absolute let down.
Shockingly bad
I’d give this zero stars if I could, it’s the worst app I’ve come across. Having so many problems linking the units to the app, now can ‘read-only’ on two of them as get a ‘temporary communication error’.
I’d prefer they had no app than this rubbish that has caused no end of frustration since getting the air con units installed. Stick to the remotes, at least they work and have more functionality than this worthless app.

Hard to believe
It’s hard to believe that in this day and age a company that big could make such a hopeless app. Eisaku Ito must not have these a/c in his house. I would have put Panasonics in if I had my time again, their remote app is great
Poor app
This is like an app from the first iPhone. Like something that the unpaid intern coded.
Clunky, poor design, missing features from the remote. Bat thermostatic control - I can set a temperature on the AC and it’ll just keep blasting all the way down to absolute zero.
No smarthome integration, widgets or even a shortcuts integration so we could make this a bit smarter ourselves.
The absolute bare minimum effort. 1 star

Embarrassing app
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries has an annual revenue of around £28 billion and this app is the best they can do in 2026. That’s embarrassing. An AI could vibe code something better on a free tier than this global company can produce. App needs to be replaced and completely overhauled. Improved user experience, remove the lag/delay, modern aesthetics and smoother controls. This.. this is not difficult. Indie developers do it in their spare time. Japanese company too, where’s the pride?

Useless App
The app is poor. It will not connect to the air conditioning after numerous attempts. I see reviews have dropped from 1.8 to 1.5. I expect better from Mitsubishi. I cannot access the wifi then I will be requesting a refund because it is not acceptable.
Not great but has some useful features
UI isn’t great, also some errors or not very logical layouts and wording. Somewhat fiddle to get the wifi connected. Manual is worth reading. Strange that the app lets you set heating temperatures between 0 and 15 using two specific modes, pity that wasn’t available on the remote control.
Unable to link Alexa skill
Thought it would be great to control my until via Alexa based on indoor temperature but every attempt to enable the Alexa skill fails. Tried via browsers, the app, changed credentials but simply errors with invalid email/pwd.
Awful app
Installation and setup is confusing. Long loading spinner shows whenever I access the app. Keep getting server errors. Silly modal dialog shows whenever I change a setting for an A/C unit. Feels like an early beta of the software that has been released. No support contact visible. Needs to be fixed.

Awful
This app is dreadful and ruins the whole experience of my Mitsubishi heavy industries aircon. I’ve had to resort to controlling with home assistant. The app frequently won’t connect and times out. On top of this basic functionality not working it just looks dated.
Temperature overreads & app lag
A truly dreadful app with an almost constant spinning wheel whenever a selection is made. It is beyond frustrating to use and it takes an absolute age. On top of that the temperatures overhead and are inaccurate. Absolutely terrible - buy a Daiken system instead.
Horrible app
Literally so horrible, its 2026 how is there app so bad
Slow via wifi fast via 5g
It takes 12 seconds to log in via WiFi with 1gigabit connection and 2 seconds with slow 5g. You guys need to hire a programmer, the app can’t be made with 11 year old nephew
