Smart Pbmed

SmartPbmed is an app for consuming the abstracts from Pubmed (Copyright NLM). This app is focused towards clinicians since is borne out of my own need to use pubmed in certain way on mobile device. I started writing the app as I wished to use it as a surgeon. The app is not intended to be a one stop shop for everyone. If you find something is missing please feel free to comment and I may like to code that feature into it. I am not a professional programmer but an orthopedic surgeon with coding as a hobby and this is an app I created for myself. I decided to share it with the hope that someone may find it useful. The app is free of any ads and will always be as it is a hobby. If you like it and wanna say something nice I sure will love to hear it. The app lets you search the articles in an advanced search manner to narrow you search. By default the space is treated as "AND" to narrow the search. You can search just in your predefined preferred/favorite journals if you wish(default form me :) You can write a comment on article and later search you comments. I needed this badly as I will read an article and later will have trouble finding which article I found that information. You can save article for later reference and also put these in collections You can share the articles by email. And, one can save the data in cloud if you trust you email. Sorry, there is no easy way to establish one's identity for backup in cloud without you making an account. And lastly you can download a csv file of your data. And it is free for everyone.
