Stopped Working
I deleted my originial collection and then made a new one - but now the display simple shows an upgrade option. I only have one collection on the app - which I was under the impression was free?
Can’t force to full color
I have themed my Mac and colorized my icons so they all look a bit like Liquid Glass. With the standard Photos widget from Apple you can force the widget to display the photos in color which I like in this case. With Smart Photo Widget you can’t do this so it didn’t make the cut for me. Looked interesting otherwise. I wish it had that toggle override.

Don’t get
Literally only allowed me to make one widget and then I had to pay
Limited photos allowed in Albums
Paid version provides option to add more albums but seems limited to 50 photos only per album. What a disappointment after paying for a lifetime subscription.
Mostly great but needs updating for iOS 26
This app allowed me to make an album containing my entire photo library and then randomly change the photo in the widget, which is exactly what I was looking for. I also use Widgetsmith for this purpose but I wanted 2 different randomly selected photo widgets on my home screen. I tried many different photo widget apps and this is the only one that did what I wanted it to. I would have given this five stars except they have not updated it for iOS 26. When using the clear setting, the photos do not come in in color. I am forced to use a solid setting if I do not want my photos to be black and white. Widget Smith has solved this problem and those photos are still in full color. I hope this App is planning to fix this problem.

X large widget won’t show pics
Bought this and so far its ok but for the large widget won’t show any pics

So i’ve been looking through all the widget apps but none of them worked or the screen just frozed. But then, I came across this app!

I absoutle love this app. i am easily able to add photos that you want and only those.
Do Not Purchase... You'll Regret It!
When I choose a folder, it takes literally over 15 minutes for this app to open the photos from the folder. It crashes all the time. And the widgets always freeze and are mostly blank, rather than showing photos. It might work if you have a few thousand photos in your library, but if you have a large photo library, stay away.

Truely free great App
Unlike other Apps which say they are free to try and asks for payment upon installation, this App is truely free and does what it says in the description. Great App. Easly customisable. Highly recommended.
Beware Photos locked to Photos App
This is only one of two photo apps the currently work well and it forces the user to get there photos from the Apple Photos App, with no option to get images from other imporant places like (1) the Finder (2) iCloud Drive ... etc there should be options for this. this app is useless to me without this functionality. I give each developer that beneift of the doubt to address these issue but if not done within the refund pocliy time limit i will have to refund the app just not worth it.

Best photo widget to date
Apple’s photo widget gives such a lack of voice over what photos you see, how they’re edited, and so forth. Smart Photo is the first, and best, with the options in the users hands. It’s nice to choose the photos I want, edit them, and know my favorites will be in there. Instead of some random screenshot from 2 years ago

Fait le job
Excellente appli pour ajouter un widget photos sur son écran d’accueil. Vous pouvez choisir des photos ou bien tout un album, ce qui est vraiment un plus. J’ai choisi mon Album FAVORITES. Je recommande. A noter que la version gratuite ne permet la création d’un seul widget.

The fact I have to pay for any of this is pretty weird. It’s really bad I wouldent say to get it unless you want to be confused 24/7

Best photo widget
I've checked out a bunch of different photo widgets and I have to say that I have finally found my favorite one.
Most other photo widget apps make you pick each photo one by one which can take a lot of time which I don't have. There are other photo widgets that allow you to choose an album, but then the results are bad. I like to use the wide widget size and so many times I end up with a photo of someone's torso instead of their face.
This photo widget, however, let's you choose an album and then just gives great results. I have it set up to show my favorites album and I love seeing old photos show up that I forgot about. I love to see my friend's smiling faces and not their torsos! And if you just have one widget, the app is free. That is a bargain. But I loved the app so much I made the purchase anyway to show my thanks.

Improvements!
Excited to see the option to turn off auto centering for individual photos. ☺️ Would love the ability to center them ourselves in a future update.

The app definitely has potential but if you're going to describe something using the word "perfect," expect to be judged on perfection. Made a couple of my photos worse centered than the regular thumbnail. If the ability to adjust image framing as desired was added so that we could fix any imperfections, it would be at the very least a 4 star app.
