Amazing
I have tried many of these types of apps and either they are based in china or completely have the wrong information. I have been using this one to keep my plants growing at our home. My wife and I have no real plant knowledge so this app certainly solved this issue. I highly recommend it

I was excited and added my 20 different backyard plants and trees to the app. Using the free version, the information on each of the plants is minimal and random. I was able to upload my own pictures of the plants and that’s my favorite art of the app unfortunately.
The “My Care” section allows you to schedule what I suppose would be various tasks into a calendar and receive alerts on specific days. All that I’m able to schedule for my 20 plants is a watering schedule. We are on a drip system so we don’t need a watering schedule. We need a flowering schedule, pruning schedule, fertilizing schedule, etc. None of that is available, so the app is almost useless.
Another must have feature that is not available is adding notes to my individual plants. There is no spot to add my own comments other than hand-writing notes and then taking a picture of it. Lame

looks cool but :/
bruh i can’t even figure out how to add a task, i got this app so i could keep attack of my different watering days for each of my plants but i i am given no option to add a task to complete that. it keeps telling me i have no task but i don’t even know how to add any please help😭💔
Wanted to like..
Wanted to like but just can’t. Initially seemed intuitive (adding plants) however information on plants & care is extremely limited/vague, seems like they encourage you to send messages to their experts instead of posting information about plants so people can read. Watering schedule seems to have only one setting for one plant (once a week?)if there is more to it - it’s kinda hard to figure out. Also there IS option to sign up for month to month subscription however it’s not apparent when subscription is offered. A lot of good reviews.. why? I feel like I’m missing something. I signed up for premium service but interface/nothing changed, not sure what I payed for. A bit disappointed.

I found this app to be very helpful as a beginner plant mom! never knew there was an app to add my plants and read up on my plant care. i used to have to look up every plant over and over to remember how to care for them. i also love how it gives categories of trending plants & by which room
Awesome app for plant lovers!
This is a great tool for anyone with plants! I love all the different features that allows you to do your own research about pests and diseases, as well as purchase plants and materials for your plants. Also there is a chat with expert humans (not robots!) if you ever get stuck! Highly recommend!

recent new user here. this app is a hidden gem for thrifty people who are just trying to grow a handful of plants and be conscientious about it. (if you can't find the exact plant, google can help you select an available proxy with the same needs...)

Disappointed
I thought this app would help identify what is wrong with a plant. All I got was an identification which I already knew. I stated the name of it in my submission to the experts! Not worth paying for premium. I am deleting app
Comparing other apps
Before I decide to subscribe, I had few questions to ask, sent an email and never heard back for weeks, tried one more time and still nothing to this day. It’s clear if I subscribe it, I won’t expect an answer right away or none. I gave this 2 stars because of the features, it looks good and it’s something I could use. But the respond service isn’t there. :( moving on to other app.

Love it for tracking my plants & finding new ones!
I love my houseplants but forget what I buy as soon as I get it home 😅 that’s why I love that this app lets me scan them in and give me easy care tips! I’ve also been loving the new feature added where you can browse plants and buy rare ones

I’ve had this app a couple years and just learned if I don’t log in to my free version I actually don’t see all the apps capabilities.
This latest update is epic!
These guys added a bunch of “finders” so now you can search for bugs, diseases, plants etc like you’re shopping. You narrow by the criteria—great for looking for the ideal plant you need. Even better when I’m trying to identify to figure out what the brown spots are in my guava tree leaves. Seems they may also be starting to sell unusual new versions of plants but I haven’t tried that function yet.
Keeping this app to see what improvements they come up with next. Probably my most valuable gardening tool.

Terrible App
I used the ask the expert feature to identify a known plant (Ctenanthe setosa “Compact Star”) with a good clear photo and after several weeks received a reply of “prayer plant”. While this is technically accurate, it is not what I expected from a so-called expert since there are literally hundreds of plants that could be called a prayer plant. This app is definitely a work in progress, as after re-downloading it I see that they’ve corrected the scientific name of the Easter cactus. However, their Christmas Cactus page still shows a photo of a Thanksgiving Cactus.
The inaccuracy of this app, combined with their petty response to my feedback: (“Thank you for the compliment. Our users know your claims are false and see right through you trying to promote your own app!”) caused me to delete this app again. I still prefer Planta since I don’t have the time or interest to waste with these developers. And I have no interest inPlanta, except being able to trust the information in the app!!

Faluty calender
The calender shows only forst 3 months of this year. It doesn’t even show the current month’s calender. I believe there’s a glitch here.
Nothing like it
I finally found an app that is focused on helping with my plants stay on track. Amazing calendar loads just like my google calendar with my tasks. The customization is so great since I needed to schedule tasks when I can do them. I love the local touch too. Unbelievable this is free. I am excited to see what’s next for this app.

Google is better
I spent a good hour looking at blurry pictures of other people’s plants to catalog my own because this app can only scan certain bar codes,none from Home Depot.
After that, the descriptions of my plants, what they like and dislike, was 1-2 sentences per plant that I already knew about.
After using 2 credits given to me I’m expected to pay 35$ to ask questions the app should answer on its own. I can go to google for free instead of waiting a week for these expensive responses.
In short- this app does nothing for me

Friend or Foe? Weed or Wanted? BEST APP !!
I love this app! It’s amazing to send off a pic of a small clump of leaves and have someone speedily identify if it’s a weed or something I planted (and forgotten).

We have a tiny nyc garden. The super ordered a cheap organic soil a few years ago and the folks at this app helped me identify hemlock, ornamental strawberry vines and a bunch of other weird stuff not normally found on a nyc sidewalk. They were super at finding out what strange thing had begun to grow in our little space.
I can’t recommend this app enough. I love it. It is the secret of my green thumb - with their help I am able to label every plant and know I am yanking out a weed not something I bought, planted and forgot.
Best app I’ve purchased. I happily pay the small subscription fee for a years worth of garden glory!
